Come experience the joys of true Hawaii - 'Deep Hawaii' with four houses on two acres. We have found Hawaii to be a magical place, and we want as many people and families to experience the joy we have found here. Our accommodations are clean, comfortable, and most importantly, reasonably priced - so the whole family can enjoy the beauty of our properties.
Enjoy 'Deep Hawaii' botanical gardens with hundreds of flowering plants and tropical fruits to enjoy (bananas, papaya, avocado, star apple, jack fruit, grapefruit, oranges, limes, lychees). Pick your fill of our tropical fruits during season. We are 20 minutes to Hilo and 30 minutes from Volcanoes National Park. We are near the Kapoho snorkeling ponds, Geothermal Hot Pools and the ocean. Great restaurants and shopping near-by.
Four Deep Hawaii vacation rental houses are located on our 2 acre fruit orchard and botanical garden in Hawaiian Paradise Park,10 miles south of Hilo. We have available a large studio that sleeps two people, a one bedroom with vaulted ceilings that sleeps up to four people, a two bedroom that four up to six people, and a larger two bedroom house which sleeps up to six. Each vacation unit is very private, yet close by.

I just wanted to share that WE LOVED staying @ Deep Hawaii and would recommend this Hale for any occation. Bob is an amazing host & his properties are beautiful & comfortable. We are Hawaii locals from Maui & took our children on a Hilo vacation. The homes are near enough & far enough to the city. We enjoyed the wonderful snorkeling in hot springs, turtle bay, took two trips to look at the volcano at night, did the national park, zoo, mac nut farm tour, downtown Hilo, Akaka Falls... we played tourist; it was great! Lovely and totally the only way to vacation with lots of privacy for our active childrren! Bob's got just about everything you can think of and more to make things perfect. BBQ, ice chest, delicious fruit bowl of papaya's, banana's & pineapple, coffee, milk, condiments... all local grown. Lots of space and million dollar landscaping! The pics on his web site doesn't do the property justice. We are absolutely looking forward to his "get away" cottage for just the "adults" next time we are there! Thank you Bob for making our family time so priceless & even better, so afforadable. We used our Hawaiian Airline miles to get there & Hawaiian Discount Car rentals for our car, $150 for a mid-size for a week. Bought food to make @ the house for packed lunches & dinners... Loved it loved it loved it!!!!! You will not go wrong booking this place. Be prepared for old Hawaii. Malama Pono... "Deep Hawaii" is truely a unique part of the Big Island! Far from the crowded Kona Coast, this is jungle, rural, and very private. We were welcomed to the Ohana house and felt at home quickly. It is more than adequate as a rented house for vacation, clean, and nicely decorated and Bob is always available for whatever needs may arise. We happily spent 1 month at the Ohana in such an interesting, relaxing and beautiful spot on earth! We would recommend property to relatives and friends. There is a book of listings for local attractions and spots of interest. Pictures accurately portray property. And it is affordable! Thanks for a most memorable experience, Bob!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We stayed in the 2 Bedroom for 3 weeks. The property was in great shape. We had everything we needed to be comfortable there. It really was a home away from home. My husband and I stayed in this home for two weeks last summer for our honeymoon ... BEAUTIFUL! Everything you need away from home, beautiful surroundings and privacy.
