Sam’s Place is a clean, heated, fully furnished house with a small rented apartment on the second floor. It is an ideal place for an artist, musician, or writer who needs some quiet time to create or just read and think. Peaks Island is a quiet place in the winter. Cross country ski through the woods, skate on the pond, walk around the back shore, get to know some of the year 'round islanders. In the evening, a 15 minute ferry ride will bring you to downtown Portland, with it’s outstanding selection of restaurants, art galleries, and varied music venues.

Off-season rates apply: $800/month or $300/wk. Daily or weekend rates are negotiable. Available through mid April 2008.
