I have been to lots of places,all over the world and this place was just a beauty.My wife and kids with some of there friends in tow,for a weekend birthday party. The owner was a caring individual who went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.Clean,clean and very neat with washer and dryer and lots of games and bicycles,surfboards,boogey boards and a couple of kayaks. The owner even came down to the beach and gave me and my son some lessons on Ocean kayaking,it was GREAT ! The view from the Penthouse was breathtaking. The price was affordable and fair,In my own opinion" it was a steal" and would go again and again,made lots of wonderful memories.....
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have been staying here in March and November for the last 3 years and have just booked for next year. The view is phenominal and the location central to everything we like to do ...such as beach walking shopping and dining. The accomodations are perfect for us. We prefer the 2 bedroom unit although the 3 bedroom has a much bigger patio. Owner is on site and if there are problems they are dealt with expediently. What you see is what you get ...great family facility
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

place was sparkling clean and well serviced....very friendly people.....rates were the best we could find between san deigo and la.....access was excellent! parking was convient....cann't say enough about this facilities!!!!!!!!!

Property has an excellent view of the ocean but lacks quality in all other areas. Listing photos do not reflect the property appearance and property was not clean and well maintained. Owner was not willing to correct or even address any of our complaints. This was a very disappointing experience for us and we would not recommend to anyone.
Owner response:This year we have finally hired an experienced and qualified housekeeping staff to keep the 'SURFVIEW PENTHOUSE' in quality shape. Also, new this year are renovations to flooring and appliances.

This property was not cleaned upon arrival, had college kid's leftover's in the fridge. He said we arrived early...3pm! We were forced to wait outside or "have a swim" until he recruited his maintenance guy to clean up. We felt horrible for this guy, the last renter's were filthy, beer drinking 20 somethings. The porch with the "perfect view" was filthy. Imagine stepping on sticky beer floors. This guy is a joke, and so is his property.

Thanks so much for letting me stay at the beachouse! We had a great time at the beach - boogie boarding, surfing, going to the ocean festival, swimming next to dolphins, building a sand alligator, and relaxing. Can't wait to come back next year! Thanks again!

This was exactly what I was looking for. The condo was a perfect fit for us. The view was spectacular. The town is a jewel. The pictures on the web are good but nothing takes the place of just experiencing it. Thanks!

We had a wonderful, relaxing week here. The sounds of the surf lulled us to sleep everynight. The views of the ocean were unforgetable. Everytime I see a picture of the ocean I will remember this place. Thanks for the classy lodging.

In the East, we have warm oceans... In the West you have ' the waves' ! Wow! The view! The town, the people, the weather... all add up to total nirvana. We have been her for a month... and it just isn't enough! A special thanks to Maryann and Jerry for all their hospitality and the fun we had together. And... we even fixed the old long board and I even used it ... at "Old Mans"... quite fitting I suppose. I know we have all had the best time and.... We will be back!
