QLocated in Narrowsburg, NY just two hours from NYC, is our year round vacation home built along the Delaware River. If you are looking for a small, but refined home with million dollar views of nature and the Delaware River, this is it.
The cottage is a two bedroom, one bath on 3/4 of an acre with large picture windows facing the river. It is situated in a very quiet, tree lined residential neighborhood, where most the homes are modest in size, but are all well maintained and offer not only river views but a good amount of grounds around the house. Lot sizes range from 1/2 acre to one acre per home. Just down the street from the house is a small playground and park area.
The house is approximately 1300 square feet and provides a master bedroom with a king-size bed and sitting area with views of the river. The second bedroom features a full-size bed. There are several seating areas in the house offering quiet, but wonderful views. The dining room and a second seating area face the river with large floor to ceiling windows offering a view of not only the river, but of an unspoiled view that extends up and down river as far as you can see. The living room and kitchen are open to the view and offer comfortable seating around an entertainment center, for those who want to break away from the river view and watch a movie. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that a visitor could want for cooking in or just taking in. A gas barbeque offers our visitors the choice to cook outdoors if preferred.
The river is renowned for swimming, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and is famous for its population of birds, especially bald eagles, that live along the river.
There is a large lawn ideal for spending time outdoors, as well as, a beach area next to the river. The house is walking distance (5 blocks) from Main Street, with restaurants, antique stores and specialty shops. Narrowsburg is only 20 minutes to the new Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center and minutes from other quaint towns along the Delaware River corridor. |
