This is truly a beautiful spot and a home that has been well-maintained. Our family enjoyed this place! As many other have noted, it is the perfect retreat after a big day of wine tasting. We would love to come back during summer to enjoy the outdoor patio. Thank you for the hospitality.

Comfortable, relaxing and peaceful surroundings at the Lake House! Wonderful location, perfect for days away tasting at local vineyard and nights enjoying company and creating memories for our 8th annual girls weekend for our group of friends from Saint Louis University. Your peaceful and comfortable Lake House provided a welcome base to explore the region – beginning with our morning walks down to the paved part of Bishop Scott with the cows and friendly neighbors along the way. Then out to days filled with Wine Country (thanks for the Aramenta lead!), Vista Balloons, the Evergreen Museum, the ch-i-l-l-y but beautiful coast, Mt. Hood and the friendly village and helpful folks everywhere. Many thanks,

Lovely home and such a beautifully created setting! We had a lovely time and appreciated the fan when the temps rose. We say deer, a blue heron, and were serenaded of course, by the bull frogs! The Lake House was a great way to introduce us to the Oregon Wine Country. Thanks so much!

What a perfect place to share a 50th birthday with loved ones! Thanks for all the careful attention to making our stay so enjoyable. We had an absolute blast hiking the property, dancing around the spacious living room (iPod speaker set up is particularly nice!) and of course cozying up in those wonderful beds. Kitchen is so nicely equipped we even ate in a few nights. Still, we did manage to enjoy lots of fine Oregon wines and cuisine. We hot, dry Texans couldn't have asked for better weather (cool, raining w/scattered sun!) or friendlier folks. Blessings!

Such a wonderful house and setting – it was a hard to leave during the day for our tour through Oregon's wine country. Everything was past all expectation. Loni does an amazing job. We had a wonderful time.

From the first look at the Lake House on the internet I was captivated by this house in the hills. It has been a wonderful trip in a truly magical place. Thank for sharing your home and surroundings with us. We will treasure the memories an hope to return.

Our friend and her fiance hosted a wonderful weekend taking a wine tour, relaxing, and a hot air balloon ride. This house is amazing! Perfect for enjoying time away together with friends. This house is gorgeous with incredible views. We had a perfect time! Thanks!

What a cozy corner of the world you have here. This was a wonderful home to come back to after wine tasting. The house had many special touches to it. Thank you soooo much for sharing your home with us. When we come back this is where we will be! By the way, the pond was phenomenal. We really enjoyed the frogs, dragonflies, and looking at all the beautiful greenery. Thanks again.

Beautiful house, beautiful weather – wish we could stay longer. Went wine tasting Saturday, recommend “John” the driver of “Luxury Limo”. Love the frogs.

A truly special weekend in a wonderful setting – the snow made a great holiday picture over the pond. My son from Seattle made it possible for my son from AK and daughter and son in law to have this time together, special memories! The time was much too short! I can only imagine how beautiful the setting in the summer with everything in bloom. A beautiful home and very relaxing. We did tour a couple of the local wine tasting establishments.

What a great vacation and Thanksgiving. We love it out here so much and this lovely house even enhanced the experience. We bought way too much wine and found some new surprises. We'll be back!

thank you for sharing this magnificent and magical home with us for a a place to explore and enjoy the beauty and heart of the Willamette Valley. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home. It was a perfect weekend retreat. We had great weather and enjoyed the pond, the frogs and the starts at night. We opted to cook in both nights. We enjoyed the local wineries. Penner-Ash and Cana’s Feast were favorites.

We agree with the other guests that it is a lovely setting, centrally located for our wine explorations. Loved the fairytale cottage look of the Lake House. The pond, figs, waterlilies, berries, and numerous trees were beautiful. The bull frogs and dragon flies were very delightful to watch and hear. WE were on a multi-day Oregon trip, down the Columbia, to Portland, Cannon Beach, The Lake House, and on to Bend, Boise, Idaho Falls and Salt Lake City. (A 58th wedding anniversary trip.) Taking home some phenomenal Oregon Pinot Noirs as well. The Lake House was a lovely mid-way, 2 day stopover for our trip of Summer 2008. Many wonderful memories, and the Lake House will be amongst them.

My sisters and I took our mom to wine country. We stayed in the Lake House and would recommend it highly. It has every amenity and is absolutely lovely and relaxing. It's perfectly situated for winery touring!

We had a great time. The Lake House is a perfect spot to explore the surrounding wine country. We’d come back to this beautiful retreat and sample different wines by the pond.

The Lake House is very special. We have enjoyed the sightings and sounds of all who live in and by the pond. We have seen a chipmunk, heard the bull frog and the buzzing of happy bees in the tree by the back porch. Yesterday morning, I looked out our bedroom window and saw a small hawk resting at the edge of the deck. My husband and I came to Oregon for the IPNC so we were gone from 8am to 11pm for three days. We were delighted to be able to extend our stay an extra day so we could stay pt and really enjoy the Lake House and its surrounding beauty, and the tranquility here. Thank you!

The house is great! Very inviting and comfortable. We enjoyed a frog serenade every night and it made being in the “woods” by the lake just that much more fun!

What a great place to celebrate my 60th birthday! As we were leaving we saw a mama deer and her tiny baby twins cavorting in the grassy area just beyond the lake – a rare treat!! Thank you! Thank you!

What a setting your gorgeous Lake House…we were transported to Monet's Garden! Are we really still in Oregon? We can’t thank you enough for our delightful stay. WE canceled our dinner reservations and cooked in our last night so we could take advantage of the ambiance and feel of your beautiful home. One of my sister's and I hosted our mother here for a celebration of her 70th birthday. So, three couples, from three states, converged for the most lovely weekend. The house is beautiful and functional. We cooked, ran, walked and toured the wine estates, all of which were nearby. We were enamored by the setting and would have loved to know the history and construction story of this house and the grounds. The information about the surrounding “neighborhood” (region) was great. We had the most amazing meal at The Painted Lady. We especially noted the tasteful blend of antique and new furniture. Nicely done! Congratulations on a fabulous vacation retreat!

We really enjoyed our time here! If you want to get away from it all this is the place – Truly, we felt whisked away, to a fairy tale. The rooms are so tastefully decorated, and well thought out. A lot of attention to detail has been made here. Then of course, is the property itself. Magical is the best expression I can describe the pond and it's surroundings. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us. We loved it!
