We really enjoyed the house on Seabrook. It is the best house we have rented on Seabrook. The house had all the amenities you would need, plus lots of movies and games for kids. The location was perfect - right by the boardwalk out to the beach. The North Beach section of Seabrook is ideal, very pretty. Comfortable house for a family of 4, but could sleep 6. Beautiful view from the back deck. We would rent this house again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My family and i just returned from a two week stay at this perfect beach house. Not only is the location convenient and beautiful, but the interior of the house is spotless and the owners have provided everything you need to enjoy a restful week. The kitchen is well-equipped, the decor is comfortable and attractive, the floor plan allows for privacy amongst each bedroom and the view is spectacular. Amenity cards were included, but honestly, the close proximity of the beach was the best thing about our stay. Our three teenage boys had plenty of room and loved the beach. The owners were quick to respond with questions and very easy to work with. We hope to return very soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Just returned from a wonderful week at this rental home. My family was very pleasantly suprised to find that this house surpassed expectations in nearly every way. My wife travels frequently for a living and stays in very high-end accommodations...she can be a tough critic! But she loved this house and we're already talking about returning next year. The listing was accurate and if anything the photos do not quite do the house justice. It has a very inviting layout and plenty of windows for enjoying the views. The propery was clean and well-maintained. The furniture (particulary the master bed) was very comfortable and the linens were clean. The property owner was extremely helpful and accessible, they respond to emails quickly and I had several long conversations via phone prior to the trip as she answered my questions. Her instructions on accessing the house and amenities were easy and organized. I would certainly recommend this house to anyone. Some additional comments: - I believe the owner uses this house regularly for themselves, which is a great benefit to the renter. The kitchen is well-stocked with just about any kind of pot, pan or implement you would need. - There are houses on either side of this one. However, you'd almost never know it when you are inside the house. The views are situated in a way that makes the house feel extremely secluded, it's wonderful - There is an ocean view, but it's pretty far because directly in between the house and beach is a nature preserve full of lush greenery, dune grasses, and animals. Two times we saw a family of deer (including huge buck and a baby) eating their breakfast not far from the house early in the morning. - The access to the beach is fairly easy, but be aware that you will have to walk a few minutes down a boardwalk to get to the beach - Compared to a public beach, North Beach is not overcrowded at all. There is parking for others who want to go to North Beach close by, so the area where the walkway to the beach ends tends to have more people. But if you are willing to walk 100 yards up the beach you can be virtually alone! - Finally, the owner recommended walking 3/4 of a mile up the beach at low tide to where the ocean and river meet. The dolphins come in to feed there and practice an amazing technique called strand feeding. They actually beach themselves for a short time and eat fish right at the waters edge. We did this and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend it to any visitor to this houseRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We have just returned from an absolutely wonderful week at beautiful Seabrook Island. This home was a great place to begin and end each day, or even to come back for a quick lunch or nap from the beach. Cozy, screened in porch was a nice retreat from the sun, yet you can still feel the breeze and see and hear the ocean. The house was very clean and meticulously maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with all dishes, cookware, and accessories that you would need. It is bright, open, and "beachy". The location is fabulous as I we love hanging out at the upper North Beach area. A short walk to the beach, using their supplied beach carts to tote even their supplied beach chairs and boogie boards if you didn't bring your own. Dolphins can be seen often from the beach, while in the water body surfing, or fishing down in Capt. Sam's Inlet. The owners are very pleasing to work with ~ quick answers by email. I will definately be back and this house will be my house of choice!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Having previously spent lots of time on Seabrook Island, this location was great! You are basically beach front with all the natural barrier areas separating you from the ocean. The boardwalk to the beach was nearby as well as the pool. The house was spacious and the decor was pretty as well. Lots of games, beach accessories and supplies needed for the week. Would use again when back that way. Bikes were delivered to the house and picked up. The North Beach area is spacious and beautiful. Not crowded in July, too.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The location of this house is wonderful. It has access to the beach with wide open views of the dunes and ocean from a massive deck and screened porch. Across the street is a private pool that is accessible at all hours. Our children really enjoyed the advanatges of the easy walk to it daily. It is no more than 100 yards. Inside the house is a large great room that is roomy enough for several people. This house is ideal for both young and older children. Tons of beach chairs and toys. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again next summer.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
