The pictures here don't show the wonderful view of the lake, nor the big ole nice deck. It was very clean and comfortable and made for a very relaxing get away.

Our 3 night stay at the cozy cabin was a perfect get away! Thanks to Vicki for quick responses to email inquiries, Winchester recommendations, providing links to maps and exceeding our expectations. The cabin is very clean, beds are comfortable, the great room was a huge bonus. But sitting on the porch and enjoying the view of the lake is priceless! Thanks Vicki and we will look forward to another visit soon!

We've stayed here for three years in a row now and would like to make down more often. The view from the covered porch, kitchen and family room of the lake is inspring, the end-of-road location is secluded and access to the lake is quick. Winchester City Park and Little Hurricane ramps are less 5 miles in either direction. Always been very happy with all the VRBO owners and caretakers and these owners are no different, very freindly and accomodating!

We wanted to stay on the Lake for Labor Day. The view of the lake was beautiful and we were able to be on the dock all day. This part of the lake is a bit quieter that the main lake and this was perfect for us. The stairs are a bit of a climb, but by the end of the weekend I was doing them comfortably.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin on the lake. We have four children ages 11 -18. We had a blast knee boarding and tubing on the lake. During the week there were very few other boats and jet skis so it seemed like we had the lake to ourselves. We also enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming in the lake because because the water is clean and clear. We had a lot of fun fishing. The cabin is very clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake. It was nice getting away from the craziness of everyday life. We enjoyed spending quality time together as a family. I would recommed this cabin to friends.

We had an absolutely amazing time, the house was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. We loved being that close to the lake and having an amazing dock and view. The owner was exceptional to work with and the cleaning lady even came by during the week to get the trash. I would highly recommend this property for rent. Thanks for the great vacation!!!

Vicky is great to work with! We had some minor issues at the cabin, but with one phone call to Vicky all was taken care of. The location was great, 5-10 miles away from the city. The property was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this property to a friend.

I completly agreee with a previous review. The owner does NOT emphasize on how well this cabin is kept and decorated. I came here with my husband for a romantic getaway, and we had the best time ever!!! We both really enjoyed the scenery, and the quiteness. My husband really enjoyed being able to fish, the nature surrounding us and have a relaxing weekend. I will def. be coming back and i have highly recommened this cabin to my friends and will gladly recommend it to anyone else.

Great view of lake from a very comfortable covered deck. Located in quiet and peacefull area with no thru traffic.We use vrbo for worldwide leasing of vacation properties and this turned out to be one of our most pleasant stays.Highly recommended.

Owner does not emphasize enough about how nicely decorated this cabin is. There are vaulted wood beam ceilings in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom. The birds provide a show all day. Remember to bring bird food to attract the birds and squirrels. We mixed up hummingbird food (1/2 cup sugar to 2 cups water) and were amused by the hummingbirds the entire time there. The boat dock provides a covered care free place to moor your boat. The lake is easy to navigate on when using an FSH map. Numbers on the map correlate to the numbers on the shoreline. Cabin is at #22.

I just spent a great relaxing weekend at this property; Very comfortable; quiet; great view of the lake; also walk the 97 steps to the dock and enjoy the water or just watch the boats going by. Everything you need is there; will go again as soon as possible.
