  This was a great place to stay, a suberb location. Within a short walking distance to the beach, which made it easy to make the early morning trip to the beach every morning to walk and watch the sunrises (great photo opportunities)and evening walks along the beach. The house is perferct for a couple or a family with young children. The deck all around the house offered a wonderful place to relax and to enjoy the scenery all around. Check out the dock out the back gate, offers a spectacular view of the river and of Morris Lighthouse, and if you just want a quiet place to read or relax there is a neat little bench at the end of the dock to sit and enjoy the sunsets. The house offers all the enmities of home, well maintained and clean. They offer bicycles to ride and all the beach accessories to use for time on the beach. Close to downtown for shopping and dining out, the pier (we recommend Locklears on the pier, great food) or a trip to Morris Lighthouse. Folly Beach is not a place to travel by car, there is not much parking available. Great place for walking and bike riding or just relaxing on the beach. Folly Beach is close to Charleston and Sullivans Island, if you want to do some sightseeing off the island. We recommend Folly Beach and Sunset in Paradise to our friends and anyone looking for a smaller house with a great location close to the beach. All I wanted to do was be able to take early morning walks on the beach and find great photo opportunities, so I can say my vacation was fulfilled.

  Our stay was for one week the house location was perfect for our family. The loudest part of the stay was the crashing waves. The beach is within eye sight and the walk over takes three minutes with a small child. We highly recommend visiting at this time of year. We had a mix of weather and still returned home with tans. Folly Beach has an earthy surfer attitude with a mix of prosperity. A well balanced and charming town. Thanks for a lovely stay.

  What a great house! We have rented many homes and always bring things from home to make our stay more comfortable - not needed for this beach house! The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The home has an excellant location for the beach and marsh, plenty of towels, and a well stocked kitchen. You can see and hear the beach waves from the front deck and enjoy the marsh view from the back deck. The beach access is about 165 steps from the house (my son counted)! We enjoyed the waves with the boogie boards provided as well as sand buckets/toys, beach chairs and umbrella. My boys fished everyday from the dock on the marsh side - we even crabbing! I highly reccomend taking the provided bikes out for a ride to Morris Island Lighthouse; great ride with a rewarding view! Folly Beach is a relaxed beach town with friendly locals and great restaraunts.....We look forward to goning back!

  My husband and I just returned from a week at Sunset in Paradise.. The house was exceptionally clean and was well stocked with toiletries, towels, etc. It was so great having bicycles provided with the rental. We loved watching the sunset every night and waking every morning to the beautiful view of the marsh. We loved the location of the house, as it is close to the light house and was very quiet.. We would highly recommend this house to our friends and family - we intend to rent it again next Feb.!

  We spent 5 nights at Sunset in Paradise and it was excellent. Just as advertised. Great amenities, quick walk to the beach, quiet area, convenient to downtown Charleston. We got fresh seafood from Crosby's to cook at the house and it was fabulous. Really comfortable beds. It was chilly the week we were there so didn't take advantage of the back deck but it is really nice. Owner was quick to respond to questions and provide information. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

  The prefect getaway for a relaxing weekend. Home was as described and Suzie was extremely easy to work with. Very clean and well stocked. The location is perfect for what we were looking for , a short drive to the main strip on Folly and right across from the beach.

  My husband and I planned a last minute mini-vacation to folly beach with our two young sons. We were apprehensive about the size of the house, however, upon our arrival, we were pleased that the layout provided us ample space. And the expansive decks add another dimension to the quaint house. The house was immaculate and was stocked with everything we needed. One morning we realized the blender was broken, and the attentive owner came right away to deliver a brand new one! Awesome service from people who truly care about your stay! We will be back to visit again next year.

  This was the perfect house for our quick weekend getaway. It was clean and in great shape. It was the perfect size and the location was great. Just a quick walk to the beach across the street.

  "Sunset in Paradise" is impressive. The location on Folly is wonderful with the marsh and dock in the back and beach access just across the street. I was surprised and delighted that you can even see the ocean waves from the front porch while sitting at the picnic table. The city center of Folly and downtown Charleston are easily accessible. We really enjoyed having the beach gear (boogie boards, bikes, toys, chairs) and not having to bring that stuff from home. The home is very clean and had everything we needed for our family week at the beach. We really enjoyed the breakfast food at The Lost Dog Cafe! And we caught crabs off the dock and made a delicious Frogmore Stew (bought shrimp from Crosby's). My husband rented a surf board from McKevlin's one day and had a blast with it. Thanks to Suzie for sharing her home!

  We rented for four days to attend my God-son's HS graduation and our anniversary. We were impressed with the unit and how responsive Suzie was to our inquiries and needs. We had our coffee on the front porch and watched the day slowly fade away from the back porch. We unfortunately had some personal family matters occur back home while there so it kind of put a damper on our total enjoyment of the weekend but fueled our desire to return next spring and for more than just 4 days.
