My husband and I travel frequently and always use VRBO. We have always been pleased and this property is no exception! It is described accurately and the the owner was very prompt in replying to my questions prior and after booking. The location is perfect. This was our first trip to Miami and we were very unfamiliar (and a bit intimidated) as to where we should stay. This property is located right across from CocoWalk which is full of shops and restaurants! The pool view is of Biscayne Bay....awesome!! The parking being included was a HUGE money savor. Getting around Coconut Grow and into Coral Gables, South Beach and Miami was quick and easy from this location. We will return! Thanks.

Condo needs serious update

Location was nice. Amenities of hotel are fine. Condo was scruffy. Just to mention a few: Stains on carpet. Broken towel/toilet holders. Incomplete kitchen: few plates, no kitchen towels, micro wave has serious cracks. Head board of Q bed is broken and tilting over bed. Some of the bathroom towels had stains. Looking at the calendar they have guests all the time, however the last review was from 2008. I wonder if they are able to delete reviews with not so positive remarks. While at the condo I called with one of the owners, 1 said they never have time to check up. The other contradicted that and said all was in good order. Needless to say, they did nothing to take care of the problems.
Owner response:First of all, I want to say that I do not have a way to delete a review. But I would say this, that I never had a guest that would be willing to write a bad review just to get $100 dollars back. If I had the ability to delete a bad review like this one I would do it. After 5 years renting my condo and having more than 200 guest plus family members stayed at my condo, and if all what she said was true, I would not have one bad review, but hundreds. In reality, when people have a good time and things are fine no one says anything, but this has taught me a lesson, and is that I need to ask guests for reviews. Answering her email: She said that she bought plates and towels, but when I asked for the receipt she said that she had lost it. I would have gladly paid for them, but I did not even see those items she mentioned in the condo, nor she could provide me with a receipt. I lived about 5 minutes away from the condo, and she called me three times a day to give me all kind of complaints that did not make sense, like there were not enough plates, or that there was a small scratch on the side of the refrigerator. The condo has a dinner set for 4 people, and she was staying by herself, how many plates does one person needs? After she left, I could have just paid her the $100 dollars back that she requested, and end of the story, but I felt that she was just being dishonest. She threatened me with a bad review, and she did it. Maybe this has worked for her in the past. I have a beautiful condo the pictures are the real deal and everything is in perfect condition, there is a complete dinnerware for 4 people, enough glassware, and silverware, there is also enough towels. There is enough to accommodate 4 guests comfortably. Finally, my Unit is at a 5 star hotel and I try to be at that level. If you have any questions please call me.

My husband and I just returned from a wedding in Coconut Grove. We stayed at this property and had a great time. The unit is lovely, fully equipped with the finest linens. We had full use of all the Sonesta amenities; i.e, beautiful pool, health club, etc. I would highly recomment this property. The rental fee is unbelievably reasonable consider the caliber of this property.
