My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed here while visiting my father for the holidays. We couldn't have asked for a better place. The bungalow was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Having 1 bath and a teenage daughter proved a little tough but we handled it okay. Tetia was accomodating in every way. Her bungalow is also in a very convenient location. Close to shops, restaurants and downtown. Try Aretha Frankenstein's just down the street for breakfast. There are quite a few steps to get to the door which might be a challenge to some. Other than that I would highly recommend staying here. We will certainly do so again.

I've rented a number of VRBO places and this one will be a favorite. The house was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is marvelous and the house is tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. Air conditioning works great, plenty of hot water, and the kitchen has just enough of all the right cookware for making a meal. I think I counted 35 stairs which could be a challenge for some people. Parking is on the street but we never had trouble getting our spot. We only used the car for one trip to GreenLife grocery. We rode our bikes and walked to town each day. It's just the right size for 2 couples. We enjoyed the open living room to the kitchen and also enjoyed sitting on the front porch. We're so impressed with downtown Chattanooga. It's such a fun town for active people.

My husband, myself, son age 11 and daughter age 14 stayed in this rental for 1 week. We were in town for softball tournaments and did not want to stay in a hotel for a week. Positives: Very comfortable beds, cute interior, nice towels and bath amenities, close to everything, just a short walk to downtown. Seemed like a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood. I did enjoy using the kitchen. Internet access worked well. The place was all lit up and ready for us when we arrived even though we did not arrive til after midnight. Clean and neat inside. Enjoyed the shower....good water pressure, plenty of hot water. I mention this because is was over 100 degrees everyday we took a lot of showers! (FYI the washer will not run if the shower is in use.) Other issues to consider: Kind of cramped for a family of 4 especially with a teenage girl and 1 small bathroom ( 1 sink, 1 mirror). One of the bedrooms is off of the living room and has no privacy (no door). We used the inflatable bed for our son, but there was only one sheet to use for it and no extra blankets. There were extra pillows and we found a blanket on one of the chairs in the living room. No usable yard. Parking is on the street. Limited channels available on TV: no sports, espn, nickelodeon, abc family, etc, no grill (though we knew there wasn't going to be one from the description), no blender ( we make smoothies a lot), very basic furniture, not a lot of seating. This rental would be perfect for a couple or a family with one child (or all boys who don't hog the only bathroom, and don't mind sharing a bed). The owner warns about the steps and she was not kidding. They are steep and it was something to haul all our luggage up. I enjoyed looking at the picture book of the renovation of this house. That was a cool touch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and I would choose this rental again for a shorter stay. I guess we just realized we need more room for all of us. Recommendations: I would highly recommended Big River Grille and Brewery and Lupi's for eating out! It was fabulous! Thanks for everything!

Great place! We really enjoyed our stay for our anniversary. Enjoyed the closeness to downtown and would recommend Hennin's as a nice restaurant for a special occasion dinner.

My husband, young daughter and I stayed here last summer and had such a great time. We loved the house - the decorations, the huge kitchen and the coziness (big enough for the 3 of us and small enough to easily be able to keep an eye on our daughter). It was really convenient to downtown as we were able to go to the aquarium, zoo and children's museum. The owner was great to work with too. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back!

The owner did a great job in giving you the comforts of home! We stayed there for 5 nights! We had a little trouble with the automatic lock, but the owner had someone there in minutes. We love to cook and the kitchen was fabulous!!!! Close to downtown, across the river, but easy access to everything to see in Chattanooga! This is a Great find in Chattanooga! If you have kids the Tennesse Aquarium is a MUST see! The house is elevated, so there are a lot of stairs, especially when you load and unload your belongings. But worth the climb!!

We stayed for nine days while getting our son situated in an apt. for his two year stay as a student at UT Chattanooga. The house was a delightful and comfortable retreat after our long days of shopping and preparations. The location was great for taking evening walks along the river, across the walking bridge and through the village area. We loved the local market, green earth, and their wine shop. We live in San Francisco and had never been to Chattanooga. We can't wait to visit our son and stay at this wonderful home.

This was our first time staying in a home instead of a hotel. When we contacted the owners they were so patient and answered our questions. When we arrived at the bungalow we could not believe the space and how clean it was. There was ever comfort of home. I would recommend for anyone wanting to get away and enjoy some quiet time. The steps were fine for us leading to the bungalow but I could see being a problem for older people or really young kids. Awesome Stay! The pictures were exactly what the bungalow looks like. Close by are lots of restaurants and shops. Just across the river is the aquarium, zoo and other attractions. The owner has a basket full of ideas and coupons which were helpful.

This property truly felt like home away from home and, yes, the great photos do the place justice. The renovation of the home was fantastic (urban, shabby chic appeal, comfy bedding, great kitchen, etc.) and we couldn't have asked for a better location for easy access to local attractions, including Coolidge Park & the Northshore waterfront. The Aveda products were lovely, we had no problems accessing the wireless network on our Mac and pizza delivery from Pisa Pizza was awesome! We would definitely consider renting the bungalow again.
