The Surf Perch is a beautifully renovated loft in Ilwaco, Washington, at the southern end of the Long Beach Peninsula. Located on the top floor of an historic building in downtown Ilwaco, this light-and-bright space was completely renovated in 2007 and includes everything you'd expect from a luxury vacation rental.
The Surf Perch is located less than 5 minutes from the beach by car and about three blocks from the picturesque Port of Ilwaco. Step out the front door and you're literally steps away from galleries, shops, restaurants, museums, pubs, hiking trails, antique stores, as well as several excellent charter fishing outfits. You're at the doorstep of all the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer.
For the foodies... cranberries and oysters are two of the Peninsula’s biggest exports. Cranberry bogs can be seen all along the Peninsula’s back roads, while Willapa Bay is home to the purest-tasting oysters anywhere; you can find them on most local menus. And don't forget the super-fresh seafood right off the boats in the Port of Ilwaco. Visit one of the many excellent local restaurants - several within easy walking distance - to sample the local bounty for yourself.
Explore the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park, visit two historic lighthouses at Cape Disappointment State Park, kayak on several amazing waterways, hike the Discovery Trail, go charter fishing, hunt for antiques, browse the many galleries or just visit the 20+ mile long beach ... you probably don't have enough time to do all there is to do here!

- Kid Friendly: The owners have a toddler, so the unit is baby-proofed. This includes safety sliders on the outlets, latches on the cabinets & drawers (which can easily be deactivated for renters without small children) and all the necessary small child/toddler gear: high chair, removable baby gate, Graco Pack n' Play crib, bed rails, as well as some books and toys. You're welcome to use it if you need it, or leave it in the closet if you don't!
