Laguna Beach is a quiet residential area on the west end of Panama City Beach. This one-story modular home-away-from home is only 2 blocks from the natural sea oats, powdery sands and crystal blue/green waters of this magnificent, dedicated stretch of shoreline.
For almost a mile, there are no buildings, condos, or vendors to disrupt your view or serenity. Upon your return from the beach, you'll especially enjoy the large screened-in porches (front and back) and the outdoor shower.
We are just about 4 blocks from Thomas' Donuts, 4 miles from Pier Park and 2.5 miles from Frank Brown State Park.
While located in a sleepy little beach community with a family/relaxed atmosphere, this recently remodeled beach home is also close to all the activities, clubs, restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores, shopping, fun and games--the new Pier Park and Shipwreck Water Park are only a ten-minute drive away. Pier Park is 9,333 sq. feet of retail shops, boutiques and restaurants as well as a 16-screen theater.
This home has a garage (full of beach toys) for your car and other belongings as well as a full kitchen and laundry room.
We also have a 2-bedroom/2bath cottage next door. It's fun to rent both houses for great family reunions/vacations, softball tournament groups and wedding parties.

We love the the private, quiet and beautiful dedicated beach as well as the new Pier Park which is only a few minutes from our houses. Having two houses next door to each other allows us to bring our children and grandchildren and stay next door to each other for wonderful family vacations.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We were in Laguna Beach (for the first time) on vacation in 2002 and just fell in love with the area, the natural beach and the community atmosphere. While down there, we decided to look around for a place of our own; found this house and made an offer --all in the same day. In October, 2009, we remodeled, putting in new kitchen cabinets, countertops, dishwasher, new floors and vanities in the bathrooms. We love the new look. Hope you will too.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Vacationing here is like being in your own home, except you're at the beach. We love staying in the house with our own laundry facilities, full kitchen, dining room, kitchen bar, two bathrooms and roomy/open concept family center rather than a crowded condo with elevators. We especially enjoy the outdoor shower when coming in from the beach. Having a garage is also a nice amenity.

My family and I rented this home the week of June 12-19, 2010. It was everything advertised and more! It was so cozy that we did not want to leave. If there were any issues or concerns, the owners were more than accomodating to us. This home is located in a very quiet family friendly neighborhood. Everything is conveniently located. We had full access to the kitchen and washer and dryer. Cooking surely helped to keep us from all of the bad fast food every day. My children loved the fact that they could walk to the beach. We did that just about every day we were there. There was plenty of room for them to run around and be kids. This was our first experience renting a home for our vacation. I can truly say that we will probably never go back to paying for hotels. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your rental!
