This is a wonderful, very private carriage house apartment located above the garage of a home located in a secluded southside neighborhood in South Haven.
This property is located on South Haven's 'South side' with panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Access to a small private beach is down private stairs: 75 steps with a spacious, cushioned deck halfway down. It is a one mile walk to downtown, one-half mile to public beaches. This is a very secluded, quiet location, comfortably furnished, very clean, and suitable for two people. Spectacular sunsets may be viewed from your deck, from the bluff, or from the beach.
There is parking for only one car.

This carriage house is everything we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle, for just a few days. Easy to get to, and very comfortable, it was delightful to stay here. The beach is a short walk from the house, and is private, which makes it even more enjoyable! The town of South Haven is just a few minutes away, and everything we needed we found locally. We'll be returning here in the future!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

What a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway! Private beach, gorgeous sunsets, quiet atmosphere. What more could you want?! This is a perfect property for a couple. Clean, quiet, yet close to town and public beaches.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Lovely little carriage house! Just right for us! The stairs were a workout....but we managed just fine. Our hosts were friendly and gave us all the space we needed.....and went sailing mid week! We felt trusted and pleased to be on our own! We will return....Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Surprisingly lovely, Anne's Carriage House is cute, beautifully maintained, clean, and quiet. The pictures online don't do it justice! Don't hesitate to stay here! To get to the beach, you do need to be able to go down quite a few stairs and up again, but there's a deck with cushioned benches halfway down. That's just an example of how homey and relaxing this place is. There's only one bed, but the couch is sleepable.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
