Welcome to Casa Cielo - "Sky House" - a two story, ten-sided tower house located in the tropical paradise of Pavones, Costa Rica.

This amazing structure has been custom designed and carefully built to the highest standard of living. As you step through the front door, your eyes are immediately drawn skyward to the clear bubble-dome skylight which makes you want to reach out and touch the heavens. Pure sunshine brightens your day with natural light, while the moon and stars caress your vision when the sun goes down. Spectacular!

Casa Cielo is just a 3 minute walk via our access road to a beautiful, secluded beach and just 20 minutes to the main point of Pavones, where you will see and experience the second longest left break in the world for surfing. Enjoy a swim in the clear waters of the Rio Claro; take a long walk along the deserted beach; slip into the ocean where the water temperature is always warm regardless of the time of year; take a jungle tour; arrange a horseback ride; or experience the most awesome fishing you can imagine.

Both Pavones and Casa Cielo are truly remarkable, so come down and relax and have the time of your life. And by the way, there are no mosquitoes here.. But keep your eyes peeled for the howler monkeys, toucans, and an amazing variety of plant and wildlife that are such a delight to behold.

  • The house is beautiful, it has everything we need and more, because to see the finest and newest movies at the plasma TV and with the surround sound was perfect!! See an entered monkey family just at the back of the house, parrots at the trees was terrific. The lonely beach just for me and my wife plus the stars at the sky at night complete our visit. I am sure I will be back to Casa Cielo as soon as I can.

  • What a great place this is! I've never seen anything like it before anywhere. The house is very cool, both inside and out, and the location is perfect. We love Pavones, and we will definitely stay here at the Sky House in the future.

  • Great place! Loved stargazing from inside the house. All the comforts of home in the middle of nowhere. Pavones truly is paradise. Saw toucans, macaws, howler and squirrel monkeys, iguanas, sloths, etc. Take the horseback ride into the rain forest to the waterfalls. Unforgettable!
