Located down a private road, this 2,800+ square foot single level home is in the heart of the wine country, yet less than an hour drive from San Francisco. Vineyards, restaurants, shops, hiking, spas and the beautiful Sonoma Golf Club are all within a few miles. The house is 5 minutes south (by car) from the shops of Glen Ellen and 10 minutes north (by car) of the Sonoma Plaza. There are over 20 wineries in the nearby area of Glen Ellen and another 7 on the road as you approach the house. We are ideally situated for groups attending weddings at local wineries.
Inside the home you will find a large, fully appointed kitchen with granite counters, double ovens, a Viking cooktop and GE refrigerator. There is seating for 6 at the breakfast table. The kitchen opens to the family room. The powder room and laundry room are located conveniently off of the kitchen and family room.
The living room and dining room are perfect for family and friends to gather and relax. Furnishing from Restoration Hardware make this a "casually elegant" space. Hardwood floors and news carpets complete the look.
Enjoy warm summer evenings in the sparkling inground pool and spa. The pool measures 20' x 35', and has solar heating and salt-based cleaning system. The hot tub/spa is located in the corner of the pool closest to the outdoor dining area and holds 4-6 people. An automatic pool cover ensures safety. The grounds measure over half an acre and the landscaped yard is fully fenced. New teak outdoor furniture, sun umbrellas, chaises and a gas grill make for a perfect entertaining space.
All four bathrooms were recently remodeled. The master bath is marble, with a separate tub for two, large shower and private toilet room. The four bedrooms include a luxurious master suite, a charming guest room with a double bed, a kids room with two twin beds and a separate guest suite with its own full bath located off of the family room.
8 person maximum occupancy. No large parties or gatherings allowed. 3 car maximum.
No children under age 5 w/o owners advanced knowledge and permission.

High Season (May 1-October 31) and holidays: $700/nt or $4000/wk
Low season: no pool use allowed
Cleaning fee: $150, Lodging Tax: 10%
3 night min stay holidays and high season. 2 night min low season.
Payment by check only. $400 refundable damage deposit required.
1/2 rental fee and damage deposit required at time of booking.

A group of 8 of us stayed here in Oct of 2009. The house is beutiful and well kept. The only downfall was the pool and jacuzzi heater was not working and therefore could not be used. The owners did give us a bit of a refund for the inconvienence. Had an amazing time overall!
