Excellent recently refurbished 1 bed apartment close to Palm Beach/Croisette in Cannes.
Sleeps 4 in 2 rooms. Large (3 seater) Habitat Iron Sprung Sofabed in lounge - converts to full-sized excellent double bed. Very new fitted kitchen. All amenities (include coffee machine and microwave/grill), new large flat screen TV, DVD, France Telecom Broadband "livebox" (with free Wifi and Ethernet broadband access). Garage (accessible via remote bleeper) with lockable private garage within secure underground car park (by prior arrangment).
Very close to restaurants, beach (2 minute walk to Palm Beach, 5 mins to Croisette beach) and yacht harbour. 10 minute walk from Palais de Fesitvals (lovely walk down the Croisette!) 400 yards from one of the best patisseries in Cannes (for your morning croissant and baguette)!
NEW: April 2011: We have bought a share in a Riva Tropicana 43 (see pic), which is now available for short rentals (half day and up) at super bargain prices (by prior arrangement).

Beautiful Apartment in Cannes

Why the Owner Chose Cannes
Because of its proximity to the Cannes Film Festival, and one of the nicest beaches on the Cote d'Azur. It is also a short walk from one of the best patisseries on the Cote d'Azur ("Cesarine"). I challenge yout to find better bread or croissants anywhere!
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
Walk to the Film Festival, and the beach. The property is exceptionally quiet (being located away from any roads), which makes siiting on the very large terrace and reading a book a very pleasurable experience indeed! And of course, taking the Riva over to Isle St Honorat for a wonderful lunch on the island at "La Tonnelle".

This is me, taken at work. I am a Media Lawyer working in the West End of London. My wife and I bought the apartment in 2006 to use for short breaks on the Cote d'Azur and for my colleagues and I to use when attending the various media festivals in Cannes.

Realy loved this place. Very convenient for everything in Cannes. 5 mins from Croisette beach, yet in a very peaceful part of Palm Beach. Wonderful large terrace - South facing so we did sunbath a lot! Local patisserie (5 mins away) was wonderful, with the best bread and croissants in Cannes. Alos, the local Cannes bus (#8) goes to and from the Palais (via the Croisette) constantly - which was hugely helpful.

Fantastic apartment. In lovely quiet residential area IPalm Beach), yet only a few minutes walk from the beaches. Totally recommended. Will come back again soon!
