This write-up is misleading because the photos are of 4 different properties-not all are direct beachfront-not all are pet-friendly& rates will vary. So read the captions under each photo with the abbreviations for each property location and ASK QUESTIONS before booking!! Each location should have it's own individual listing and ID number to avoid disappointment and misunderstandings.Glad we noticed this BEFORE we booked!

We had a very relaxing week in your condo the week of October 10-17, 2009. The sunsets were spectacular. The beaches were like flour. We had some nice waves early in the week, and hot temperatures too. We will definitely be back!

Great Weekend Getaway

This was one of the most memorable weekend getaway that my husband and I have shared in a long time. The resort is just amazing. The staff was friendly, the condo was just beautiful. We relaxed and just enjoyed being away from the craziness of our normal lives. Didnt want to have to come back to reality. Will definately be back soon. Thanks for some really great memories.

My family stayed in this condo the last week of April. We had wonderful weather, especially when it was raining the whole week at home. The condo was so bright and comfortable. The views were amazing. We really enjoyed sitting on the private balcony and listening to the waves at night. We really enjoyed the week and would love to come back again next year.

My wife and I recently spent a week in ETW 1000 and we had a wonderful time. The unit is fully equipped with everything you'll need. The corner location provides simply lovely views of the beach and ocean. We highly recommend this unit for any family looking for a perfect spot for a vacation in the Destin/FWB area. This condo had everything we needed. The ice making machine was AWESOME! Never needed to wait to have ice for those beach drinks. The unit was in good condition and was very spacious. Balcony views were to die for!! We will definitely consider coming back.

Excellent Choice & Resonably Priced!

This is a perfect choice for your vacation if you like to be off the beaten path, yet close to everything. There are many great restaurants and activities within a reasonable driving distance. The elevator in the building made staying on an upper floor a breeze. I was concerned that it would be noisy with people above us, but it was extremely quiet. The sound of the ocean will lul you to sleep. The unit is very clean and well maintained. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. The bed was comfy and had decent pillows. Dealing with Rick @ Sky Ventures made the booking process easy. Our recommendations for places to eat would be, Breakfast: Another Broken Egg (just over the bridge to Destin) Lunch or Dinner: High Tide (less than 1 mile from the condo @ the base of the bridge coming into Okaloosa Island, next to the Tom Thumb on the corner) This place had great sea food and was reasonably priced. It seemed more like a place that the locals go. Not a tourist trap! If you have kids or just enjoy dolphins & sea lions, you need to check out the Gulfarium. The fishing pier is very close, as well as a couple of great spots on the back bay to picnic and go to a calmer beach if you have very little kids. There is a Publix supermarket close by if you want to stock the kitchen and eat in. If you travel down into the Destin area there are tons of shopping centers, including Outlet Malls. As you can tell, we enjoyed our stay and will be booking again soon!!

Aqua Villa #306...wow, what amazing views! Nicely decorated condo right on the beach that allows dogs...how can you beat that? We had a wonderful time. Our 2 pugs loved to lay on the balcony and watch the waves and people on the beach. Thank you for allowing us to bring them.

Aqua Villa #306 was just amazing. The dogs were so content to watch out the front floor to ceiling window and really loved laying on the balcony. We had the best time just relaxing and watching the gulf right from the privacy of our own balcony.

We had a great time staying at Aqua Villa October 8 - 12. We loved the short walk to the beach and the pool was so close to our unit. We totally fell in love with the Ft. Walton area and hope to return there on a yearly basis. The property was well maintained and clean and was everything we had hoped it would be.

Great condo! It really was right on the beach! It was nice to get up in the a.m. and walk from your room onto the beach with only a towel and a smile. I would recommend this location to a friend in a heartbeat. When I do tell them about Okaloosa Island, I will be sure to tell them to eat @ the Crab Shack. Yum! Not a crowded beach, so it's great for all :)

AV306 was a great condo with a fantastic view. You are close enough to the water to hear the waves. We saw the Dolphins every day. Anything I would want changed would be for the complex to open up the side yard for pets.

Hello again, Just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had. Even after the winds of Hurricane Ike it was still beautiful and the weather was great. We had the best time. If you want someplace to relax this is it...Also if you want to be very active you can do that. We chose to relax and watch the sun rise and set and enjoy the waves washing up on shore and walking the beautiful white sand beaches. What more can you ask for. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your home. We want to return again next year (Good Lord Willing). There are some friends of ours that are interested also, sure will pass it along.. We just returned from what was a great week and we want to thank you for letting us stay in your marvelous condo - AV306!! The unit has absolutely beautiful views! There is everything in the condo that any vacationer could want or need. The weather was fabulous until Hurricane Ike started churning the Gulf on Wednesday. We had many great meals: Old Bay Steamer was fun and the food was good; Fisherman's Wharf; and our favorite, Staff's. We also had a great meal and good service at Captain Dave's in Destin despite the bad reviews we had read on line. Thank you also for allowing the dogs and they also enjoyed the balcony!! What more do you need? Even Hurricane Gustav (2008) didn’t spoil the fun. Our lab loved to lounge at the window and look at all the people passing by and using the pool. The kids enjoyed the pool, which is 3 steps away. The beach is wonderful. You can walk to the Pier and back. We all had a wonderful relaxing time. Next time we are going to the Water Park and book an excursion on the Glass Boat. Definitely will use these accommodations again.

Perfect Location!

Our stay on Okaloosa Island was great! Let us start by saying that the location of the room and building, and the view from the beach-front windows were all VERY nice! The way the room is centered in the building gives it a wonderfully unobstructed view of the beach, dolphins and all! The way it overlooked the pool was very handy for keeping an eye on the kids in the pool while still being able to gaze out at the surf at the same time. Perfect! We enjoyed the well-constructed BBQ pits for several of our meals, the more than occasional dip in the clean and clear pool, and the raised deck above the pool-house for early morning coffee and late evening drinks. One other thing to make note of is Jessie, the grounds-keeper. She is very friendly and very helpful when it comes to local 'stuff'. We enjoyed talking to her on several occasions. And, she does an excellent job tending to the grounds around the building. All of these things combined to make for a wonderful week on Okaloosa Island. We are looking forward to booking this condo from Rick at Sky Ventures for many years to come. He is very attentive to the guests' needs. See you again in 2009!

The unit was immaculate and attractive with the best supplied kitchen I have ever found in a rental. Being on the second floor (with an elevator) provided spectacular views of the gulf with dolphins sited almost every morning. The pool was close, and a real treat after a day of sunning on the beach and swimming in the ocean. We enjoyed being in a more residential area with attractions just a few minutes away. We would definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

My husband and I sat in the living room every afternoon during the young kids nap time and kept looking out and saying "It's so beautiful". No one in their right mind will want to leave this condo (#306). You dont have to bring anything for the kitchen. We had 2 teenagers with a bad attitude and left them in the spare room with peaceful results. There are games and some toys but who needed them with all the sand? The closet in the master is huge. The only downfall is that I dont own that condo =)

We had a very nice stay at the Condo. The decorations were quite lovely. Only problems to address was the door to the deck from the master bedroom didn't want to stay locked but since we were on the second floor we were not really concerned but do recommend they get it fixed as well as get new couch and loveseat cushions as they are getting quite worn.. The area was quiet for the most part in the evening so we slept well and the master bedroom is lovely!!. There were many young married couples staying there with babies and younger children as well as those with teenagers who were out surfing and doing many other wanter sports as well as volleyball on the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas were availabe for a price already set up or there were 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella available in the second bedroom closet as well as many toys for the kids to play with.. We were about a mile and a half from where the restaurants started and other activities began so not far from other enjoyments.. We would recommend this to those addressed above. Since one of our party walks with a cane and has trouble lifting her legs--unless a shower stall was installed --We would not return. Overally--we highly recommend this for those listed above. Summer 2008 Vacation

Thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay in your condo tremendously. We have been coming to the Gulf every summer for the last 12 years or so and we really enjoyed ourselves this time. We love being right on the beach and the boys really liked having the pool so close to the room. We also went over and spent a morning on the bay catching hermit crabs and swiming in the bay. Bonus having Tom Thumb store so close, you always forget something. We look forward to coming again next year.

This on IE2G: We had a wonderful time, right on the beach, just high enough to see over the dunes to the surf. We forgot to pickup our beach towel the last day but the beach-service person, Brett, put it on the rail for us. Thanks, Brett. Our dog, Rocky, eventually got used to the pet walk area at the side of the building, and we appreciated that. Island Echoes is close to Tom Thumb and Publix so we could stock up without having to leave a lot of food. Great Okaloosa Island condo

The condo was nice and clean - exactly as described. The building is smaller, so not so many guest as the huge places, parking convenient and was very quiet during our stay. The first floor made it even more convenient to come and go - Plus - the beach access is right outside your door. The beaches are clean & beautiful, dolphins playing morning and evening. It's convenient also to all the attractions and restaurants Destin is only minutes away. We'll be sure to keep this address and hope that it's available for our next trip.

My husband and I stayed in AV#306. It was home away from home. The island and beach was not crowded like Destin. We never travel without our pet so the pet friendly policy a definite PLUS!!!! Hassel free correspondance with the owner. Will stay here again!

It was a great property, convenient, clean and right on the beach. It was far enough away that you felt like vacation but close enough for a day of shopping or parasailing. It was really a great condo.

Thank you for allowing us to stay here. What a great view! We enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the dolphins play. The waves were huge! It rained one day, but only very briefly. We were fortunate that we had good weather! Our Westie liked it too. He liked standing on the balcony to watch the seagulls! After watching the sunset, we would grab flashlights and patrol the beach looking for crabs. Great food in FL! Great view! We had lots of fun!

We had a wonderful vacation at the Island Echoes 2G Condo. The location in Fort Walton Beach was a great location for us. It is a little more laid back than right in Destin. We stayed in Aqua Villa unit # 306 the last week of September 2007. Our main reason for selecting this property was its pet friendly policy. We found the unit to be very nice, with a great location and beautiful view. The private balcony is a great plus. The guest bedroom can easily sleep 5-6 kids; the bedding in that room is very accommodating for a large family. We plan to stay in this unit again and again for years to come.

Wonderful place. Everything worked great. Beautiful views. Saw the dolphins. Our 3 yr old daughter and our dog loved it all. We'll be back soon.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We had a wonderful time. The view is fantastic. The weather was perfect. We felt at home and relaxed. We took a trip on the glass bottom boat at sunset. The dolphins put on a show for us. The condo is very clean - no problems. We do want to come back - we really love it here. Thank you again.

We found this property to be a wonderful pet friendly fit for our family. Our daughter (3-yrs) and dog had a fantastic time. The property location was perfect, and the view from the unit was beautiful. (The private balcony is great for the early risers in your group.) The guest bedroom with its creative bedding could easily sleep 6 kids. The beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world. We'll stay here again and again in the years to come.

I want to thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. It was the most awesome vacation we have had. The view was so GORGEOUS from AV306. I could have stayed there forever. We were so relaxed and peaceful. We felt right at home as soon as we entered. It has everything you need and so clean. We want to return as soon as we can and will definitely go back. The dolphins put on a show for us every morning. The sunset was spectacular. The water and the colors of the water was so serene. The view from the 2 balconies was such a sight from the living room sofas along with the sound of the waves reaching the shore. What more can I say. We had a wonderful time. Thank you again.
