Nice home, off the beaten path. Beautiful rock outcrops and scenary. Nice to be in the mountains with flat, grassy areas for kids to play. Home was family friendly and cozy. We flew kites and hiked close by as well as enjoyed the lake down the road. Overall we had a nice and restful stay. Rock climbers would have plenty of faces to climb in good weather! Home needs washer/dryer for use. Close proximity to town if amenities needed, yet secluded enough to feel removed from town.

My family of six stayed for four nights in early August, and we had a great time. The cabin was very clean, and everything appeared to be brand new. We headed into RMNP each day but enjoyed escaping the hustle and bustle of Estes Park when we returned each evening to fix our dinner at the cabin. We would definitely stay again.

This is a beatiful cabin that exceeded our expectations. The property was very clean and outfitted with everything needed for a relaxing familiy stay. The cabin comfortably accomodated our family with two adults and five children. There was a pack-&-play crib for our two-year old. Our kids hiked and explored into the National Forest right from the cabin. The fly fishing in the nearby pond was excellent. We hope to come back again in the future.

Exceptional property. Loved the setting, the cabin, and the solitude. The drive in takes a little extra effort but it's worth it. We will come back...

Spent a week here July 2010. We had 6 adults and 3 small children and were all very comfortable. This home is tucked away on a beautiful mountaintop, but only a 20 minute drive into Estes and RMNP. We enjoyed hiking and biking around the cabin and even did a little top-roped climbing nearby. The cabin is furnished with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing retreat. Really enjoyed cooking meals in the fully furnished kitchen and dining on the spacious deck out back. We ended most evenings watching the stars from the outdoor hot-tub. The owners take great care of this cabin and were great to work with. We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. The accomodations were very nice, plenty close to RMNP and Estes, yet off the beaten path enough to be really relaxing. Highly recommended. Don't miss the fly fishing on the Big T.

We spent five days at this rental during the 2007 Thanksgiving holiday and had a great time! The cabin is beautiful, loved the kitchen, and the place is fairly secluded. The kids loved the loft and playing in the forest behind the house. We adults visited in front of the cozy fireplace and relaxed in the comfortable bedrooms. We also enjoyed the outdoor firepit (even though there was a foot of snow on the ground.) We had a wonderful experience and the owners are simply great to work with. We'd love to go back!

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay for the weekend! We had an absolutely awesome time! The house had everything we needed, and is in a really quiet area. We especially loved just relaxing on the back deck, watching the humming birds buzz around our heads! We can't wait to come back!
