This private home is the ideal getaway for an individual, couple or small family looking for a cozy, relaxing vacation. The cabin is located in Drake, Colorado just below Storm Mountain. It's just 25 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Some of Colorado's best fly fishing is in the Big Thompson river which is only minutes away!

Drake is surrounded by Roosevelt National Forest (designated wilderness area). This is a great spot to stage your hiking, photography, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, biking, hunting, rock climbing or other outdoor activities within the great Rocky Mountains, or just relax.

  • We spent five days at this rental during the 2007 Thanksgiving holiday and had a great time! The cabin is beautiful, loved the kitchen, and the place is fairly secluded. The kids loved the loft and playing in the forest behind the house. We adults visited in front of the cozy fireplace and relaxed in the comfortable bedrooms. We also enjoyed the outdoor firepit (even though there was a foot of snow on the ground.) We had a wonderful experience and the owners are simply great to work with. We'd love to go back!

  • Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay for the weekend! We had an absolutely awesome time! The house had everything we needed, and is in a really quiet area. We especially loved just relaxing on the back deck, watching the humming birds buzz around our heads! We can't wait to come back!
