Main farm house with 7 confortable bedrooms and private bathrooms - Travel to Quito, Ecuador "Santa Ana" is a green dairy farm located just close to the "Pichincha" volcano. Even though it is only 45 minutes away from down town Quito and 25 minutes away from shopping centers, markets, cinemas, located in the south part of Quito, it is a hidden spot in the Andes. This is a beautiful valley named "Lloa" with its' tiny town and friendly farmers. At night it can get down to 15 degrees Celsius and during the day up to 25 degrees Celsius. You will need a warm jacket and good walking shoes. This pretty farm house is built with volcanic rocks and pine wood from the area. It is ideal for a relaxing vacation not far away from Quito. You will enjoy this comfortable house, taking a warm bath after a long walk and then relaxing with romantic music by the fireplace while drinking a delicious cup of hot chocolate with homemade cookies. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Most bedrooms have a fireplace.The cozy main lobby area with its' stone fireplace is the right place where family and friends enjoy being together. The second floor lobby has the perfect warm setup for reading. The price includes the service of one cook and one maid. The native cook can help you preparing meals or if you prefer she can prepare some international dishes as well as Ecuadorian delights. The price also includes daily row fresh milk, homemade biscuits or cookies, coffee, tea or chocolate, home made jelly for breakfast and your choice of organic vegetables from the garden. Peace and quiet is not the only thing you will find at Santa Ana; there is a lot of ADVENTURE involved. You can climb to the active volcano (one hour by car), there is a half hour drive to the natural warm spring of Palmira, you can fish your own trout, visit the chapel where "Virgen del Cinto" is painted in a rock, also you can take a two hour drive to the rain forest and Rio Blanco and the best of all: you can ask for a long one night walking trip to Pacay in middle of the rain forest (no car road, just wild life). If you want noise, it takes you only 25 minutes to visit Quito's hot life. Quito is a very friendly city with many interesting things to visit. Ecuador is a gorgeous country, with a multicultural environment and a very big potential to discover. Santa Ana's farm house is also ideal for groups who want to get involved with some humanitarian projects or community service while enjoying a fun trip to a wonderful country.
