This Premier oceanfront deluxe 2-story 'townhouse' condo in at the popular Poipu Shores complex is situated on a sea cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean where you can watch turtles, dolphins and whales. The condo underwent a complete remodel in 2006. The kitchen and bathrooms are all granite and the floors have pillowtop tile. If you spend your time inside, there are ceiling fans in everyroom to keep you cool on warm summer days and there are two oceanfront lanais for maximum outdoor enjoyment. The ground floor lanai has a dining table and chairs, and the upper level lanai is off the master bedroom .
This 1550 sq. ft. condo was professionally decorated for maximum tropical enjoyment. It includes a washer and dryer, as well as many comforts you’d find at home. The pool overlooks the ocean where you can typically see sea turtles swimming below. Walk about 3 minutes to Brennecke Beach and 5 minutes to Poipu Beach. Poipu Beach has a small protected area that is great for the keiki (children) to swim in. Truly one of the premier condo units on the south side of the island! This beautiful two-story Kauai condo is located in the elegant Poipu Beach area. When you enter the property you are greeted with warm colors and the sounds of the surf right out your back door, filling the residence through the slatted windows. Inside, the condo is beautifully finished with wood and tile floors, new appliances in the kitchen, beautifully finished bathrooms, tasteful decorations, and all the other conveniences of home.
I was tempted to curl up and begin my hibernation, but I got so involved watching the whales from the patio, I could not pull myself away. Then in the two coves at the bottom of the cliffs to either side of the property I spotted several green turtles and could not decide whether to watch the whales or the turtles. If you get tired of sitting and watching everything going on around you, may I recommend a lovely stroll on Poipu Beach that is only minutes away.
I was very sorry to see my stay come to an end and hope to return to this Kauai paradise soon! Try to take in this property for a truly relaxing vacation in this Hawaiian paradise.

We had the most amazing time on our last trip to Kauai. Poipu Shores is such a great complex and had everything we could have ever needed. We felt so comfortable and there was plenty of space for teh 4 adults and 2 children on our trip. I can't wait to come back!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

Why Poipu Shores:
My husband and I were married at Kee Beach on the North Shore and visited the island several times after. We used to manage vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe and many of the owners also owned property in Kauai and asked if we would be interested in starting a business here. After a couple of years, we finally made the move and have been blissfully happy ever since. The island has so much natural beauty and outdoor activities, yet it still doesn't have that 'big resort' feel. It is a great, safe place for children and also makes for a perfect honeymoon or anniversary destination.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There are so many outdoor activities to enjoy here -- going to the beach, surfing, stand up paddling, horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing, taking a boat charter along the Napali Coast, kayaking, camping, biking, etc.
I enjoy getting a spa treatment at the Anara Day Spa at the Hyatt. If you enjoy going to a spa, their facial is perfect.
My husband and I met at culinary school and consider ourselves 'foodies'. We love the Kilauea Bakery for a great cup of coffee and the bialys (stuffed bagels) are amazing. Some other restaurants that we enjoy are Josselins, the Kalaheo Café, Postcards, Roy’s, Tip Top Café and Kauai Pasta just to name a few. There are some wonderful farmers markets here and fish markets (Hanalei Dolphin is the best) with their fresh local catches of the day. Ahi is, of course, an island favorite and can be found at many of the restaurants throughout the island.
Whale watching is from December - March and is quite a sight to see.
Some of the best golf courses in the US are located in Kauai.
