Our 2nd stay here - last time was in the Fall - enjoyed our stay again. Our children and grandchild live close by and this cabin is closer and more comfortable than a hotel room. LOVED the irises blooming around the cabin....just beautiful!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Our children and grandchild live close by and it was so much nicer than staying 20-30 miles away in a hotel. Bed is small (husband is 6'2") but was ok for couple days stay. It was nice to have convenience of home vs hotel room.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: We replaced the double bed with a queen size last weekend. Thanks for the feedback.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday on a short getaway and the log cabin was the perfect place. We fished at the ponds that are on the property and just enjoyed the quiet time away from the busy city life. Even though I am afraid of spiders, the spiders around the house looked more like decoration than real and did not bother me very much. We enjoyed our stay very much and would go back any time!!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This is the perfect "in-town" getaway. Close to home, but out of town. We came for a relaxing weekend and this was just the ticket. The cabin is not "secluded" but the hosts were very gracious and respected our privacy. What would make it "excellent" instead of just "good?" Upgrade the bed to something bigger than full. I'm 6' 2" 230lbs and felt like I was sleeping in my kids bed :-) A hottup would be nice, but not a deal-breaker....We will most definately be back and will recommend this place to our friends...Thanks for everything!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks to Bill, we have upgraded the double bed to a queen bed. I appreciate your comment Bill.

I believe our hearts have officially adopted your cabin as our home away from home. It was a joy to be back, and made our Christmas extra memorable. Caught a fish on Christmas day! We are refresed and ready to go out there and be the best we can be. A perfect way to begin the New Year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful weekend where we were able to stop our busy lives and just be still and refuel. Mike enjoyed all your ponds and fishing. Your cabin was warm and cozy.
