If you are looking for peace and serenity with no one around but the wildlife, you have found the place. In the summer you can lounge around on a small private beach and enjoy the beautiful, shallow lazy river. In the winter you can enjoy the snowmobile trails nearby and sled right in the front yard.
About the house: This is a manufactured ranch (think oversized mobile home but nicer). We are renting out four bedrooms. The master has a king size bed, walk-in closet and full bathroom. The other three bedrooms have: 1 bunkbed with a twin on top and full size futon on bottom; two twin size beds; and the forth has a twin bed with a full size futon, all with closets. The kitchen has all appliances and amenities with a table that seats six. The kitchen overlooks the river and field across the river that is often the host to deer, groundhogs, and many different birds.
About the river: The Smith River is a clean, quiet lazy river in the heart of NH. We are the only people who actively enjoy the river and it has ample sunshine areas as well as shaded areas. Our daughter has been enjoying the river since she was under the age of two. There is just one small area that is fairly deep and the kids who visit enjoy doing cannonballs off the side.
About the property: In the summer evenings we sit on the large deck and enjoy the quietness and peacefulness of our property. There is a large, sloping front yard that sets the property far from the quiet street.
In the winter days, enjoy skiing, shopping, and snowmobiling. In the winter evenings, we light the fireplace and play foosball or watch some movies.
