CHERRY PINES

The virtual tours in particular will provide you a better understanding of the properties layout, scenery and accommodations. Cherry Pines is located 13 miles south of Bigfork, Montana on Flathead Lake's east shore.
Our comfortable lake house and cozy guest cabins sit on 15 acres with 450 feet of private beach. Rebecca and I have tried our best to outfit each cabin with all the amenities of home. We reside on the property with our 2 children and maintain the buildings, grounds, and orchard. We are there if needed however respect our guests' privacy and keep a fair distance. Our hope is you are as comfortable at Cherry Pines as you are in your own home. Below is a description of the cabins and property.
The LAKE HOUSE has 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. One bedroom has an adjoining bathroom while the other bathroom is shared. There is also a loft with two twin beds.
The MONTANA CABIN sits about 75 yards from the Lake House and features a sitting area, queen bed, kitchenette and full bath.
The CHERRY CABIN is a short walk from the others and offers one bedroom with queen bed as well as a sleeping porch with two bunk beds. The two sleeping areas (sleeps 6) are adjoined by a full bath. The Cherry cabin also has a living area with a rock, wood burning fireplace, a dining area, and a full kitchen.
Each cabin includes a patio with furniture and a barbeque grill. In addition, the cabins are equipped with satellite TV and DVD players. The Lake Cabin has wireless internet.
The property's pebbled shoreline is ideal for wading in the water with children, swimming, and rock collecting. Beach chairs and umbrellas make this a relaxing spot for shade seekers and page turners as well. Our spacious dock provides ample room for sunning or casting a fishing line. We also have a mooring ball for your boat or rental boat. In addition there is a wood burning sauna at the water's edge.
In the evening enjoy stunning sunsets while playing horseshoes on the lawn, eating supper on the deck, resting in one of the hammocks or roasting marshmallows in one of the bonfire pits. Guests who stay with us in August enjoy eating fresh cherries, peaches, nectarines, apricots and plums from our orchard.
Whether it is views of the water or views of the mountains, Cherry Pines offers them in every direction!

My family and I stayed at Cherry Pines during a week's stay on Flathead Lake. I'm a returning traveler to the lake as my family lives further up the lake near Bigfork. We stayed in all three cabins/house as there was kids, nephew and friends for a visit. The property couldn't have been more ideal and will leave many wonderful memories for us.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family just spent a week at Cherry Pines for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been more perfect. Cherry Pines is incredible!! Beautiful views from everywhere, great accommodations, and total privacy. We had great meals on the deck, sang around the campfire, played horse shoes, relaxed in the hammock, wake boarded and boated around the lake and swam off the dock. It was the best family vacation we've ever had and worth every penny. John and Rebecca are so nice and helpful and I can't rate this place high enough. We'll be back for sure.

It was heaven being here. We loved the Montana Cabin, while the kids took the Lake House. It's like having your own national park, with amazing beds and complete privacy. The beauty is transportive. I slept better than I've slept in years. We really appreciate your easy going help and the investment of time, sweat and money to make this such a completely lovely place to stay - Richard I cannot imagine a more delightful place to spend time - QUALITY TIME with one's family. June 21-29, 2008 Thank you John & Rebecca for providing such a lovely place to spend our vacation. The lake view was spectacular And we marveled at it daily. We took advantage of the campfires, the fishing, and peaceful walks. The beds were so comfortable and welcoming each night. We hope to return soon!
