  We found renting an apartment in Barbados during the holidays pretty tough unless you won the lotto because everything if available was super expensive. Then we found this listing and took a chance because it was within our price range for a two bedroom apartment close to the gap. We were not disappointed. The unit is across the street from a very nice low key beach and within walking distance to the gap restaurants. It was nicely done and the newly furnished. We did have a problem with the internet but the management company was very responsive and got it fixed. When we wrote the owners they were as well responsive. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom a good size. The second bedroom has two twin beds and perfect for kids. I would recommend staying here and we plan to return. For the xmas holidays it was a good value as everything around us was super expensive and close to the local places to eat. We really liked Miami beach which you can take a local bus to and our favorite restaurant is Pisces about a quarter of a mile down the street. Excellent seafood but not cheap.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We stayed in this well maintained condo for six weeks ( Feb- Mar 2011). Staying in this apartment was just like our home away from home. We felt very comfortable and any requests we had, Nora and Alain were most accommodating. We were situated close to Dover Beach (2 minute walk), grocery store next door and not to forget Scotty’s across the street with fabulous lunch menus and affordable prices. This condo has everything we needed. We loved the modern kitchen and our own washer and dryer was an added bonus. Our party consisted of four adults and with the spacious rooms and deck, we had no problems having our “own space”. This was our third visit to Barbados and our first to rent a condo. We are happy we went this route and look forward to returning here again in 2012 and many years thereafter. Thank you Nora and Alain for sharing your “home” in Paradise.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We had a fantastic time in Barbados and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your apartment in the Terraces. It's in a fantastic position at the side of the building with great views.
