Also, only a short walk away, you can be down by the shores of Lake Placid enjoying the amenities of the lake. Besides the activities at Whiteface Club and Resort, the home is only a few minutes from Main Street Lake Placid and a 15 minute drive to Whiteface Mountain.
This newly refurbished Sandbrook townhouse has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a wood burning fireplace, cable TV, and laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. The two bedrooms have queen size beds and a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Although we had stayed in downtown LP in the past, we thought about trying to rent a home for the week. We really didn't know what to expect, but to my surprise we stayed in a lovely, clean and beautifully decorated home. Our view was directly looking at the golf course. From this location I was able to work on my computer (shame on me), and still watch my kids from the deck. All we really needed was our clothes, toothbrush, shampoo, and food to stay here for the week. Being close to downtown and the lake was a real plus. I highly recommend this home and plan to return next year!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

So pretty, clean and comfortable. Private beach is great for kids. Very clean. Owner great to deal with. We were SO comfortable here as a family of 5. Everything you could want. I am jealous we don't own property!
