This spacious, breezy, and light-filled vacation condo, is actually a JUNIOR SUITE, located at the popular Ocean Club West on Grace Bay beach. At 920 sq ft this suite is TWICE THE SIZE OF MOST STUDIOS AND HAS A FULL KITCHEN. Exceptionally comfortable, the open floor plan with a king size bed makes it ideal for couples.
With no stairs to climb,this ground floor unit, offers direct access to the large free-form pool and a beach that Conde Nast Traveler Magazine considers one of the finest in world. Trip Advisor took it to a higher level in their 2010 Traveler's Choice Awards and names Providenciales as the #1 Beach and Sun Destination in the World.
The suite offers 18 feet of sliding glass doors, which open onto the screened terrace and fill the suite with light and enhance the spacious feeling.
The suite's large - 25' by 8'- screened terrace makes a great space for cocktails, Caribbean dining, or relaxing with a book. Enjoy the ocean breeze throughout the day and night. You can sleep with the sliders open to the screened terrace so that you can enjoy the ocean breezes. If you prefer, close the doors, as the suite is fully air conditioned.
Most studios only offer a microwave in a galley kitchen, but this JUNIOR SUITE offers a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher giving you the ability to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner at home when you want.
Ocean Club West is one of the few resorts offering gas grills for the guests to use. It's hard to beat a nice steak dinner and glass of wine on your own terrace -- and eating in saves you money, too. This suite has an expresso coffee maker for those, like me, who enjoy a good strong coffee in the morning. There's even a coffee grinder in case you want to buy whole beans.
My suite features a full size front loading washer and dryer--better than the ones I have in my own home -- and I provide the detergent and bleach. Of course, there is also an ironing board and iron! In the bathroom you'll find soap, shampoo, and conditioner for the shower and a hair dryer for afterward. In the kitchen you don't need to buy coffee filters, paper towels, dish washing soap or powder for the machine as they are all provided. I also provide sugar, salt and pepper and spices for cooking so that you don't have to buy a five pound bag of sugar just to sweeten your coffee!
As an added benefit, suite 516 offers free calling from the suite to the United States and Canada. Calls from Providenciales to the United States and Canada are often billed by resorts at $2.00 per minute, which can add up fast. So whether you need to stay in touch with the office or just check and respond to the messages on your answering machine at home you'll be saving a bundle. This suite even has a Connecticut phone number that you can give to your friends and family so that they can call you directly without paying for calls to the Caribbean.
Suite 516 offers a private wireless Internet network with a computer in the suite so that you can check your email or surf the web 24 hours a day without having to go to the lobby or bring your own computer.
My guests enjoy Sirius radio with commercial free listening or use the 50GB of music on the computer. You can also bring your own Ipod/MP3 player which connects to the stereo to play your own music. The new 42" flat screen HDTV and DVD player provide an entertainment option.
If you like to read, you will enjoy the Kindle that I provide. Perhaps you have been wanting to try one before you buy your own--This will be your chance to "test drive" the Kindle.
At the resort you will find two tennis courts for both day and night play, and a fitness room for your use.
The resort has a casual restaurant, the Seaside Cafe, located on-site. Three more restaurants are located in the Ports of Call shopping village just down the block. There are lots of restaurants in easy walking distance.
Grace Bay beach is the main attraction. The magical crystal clear water, white sand and the world's third largest barrier reef combine to create an idyllic swimming environment. Thanks to the island's barrier reef the surf is usually only inches high, so no getting knocked over by waves.
While most resorts are located on Grace Bay,,Ocean Club West enjoys a wider beach than most. Ocean Club West is located on a low-density part of the beach on Grace Bay. We're next door to the Grace Bay Club, where rates start at over $6,000 per week in the winter. Our other neighbor is The Pinnacle, a 28 unit condominium where individual units started at $1.3 million. Remember: This open floor plan -- 920 square feet--is the same size as many one bedroom suites, but here the open design creates a brighter, breezier, and beautifully decorated space. It offers a king size bed, full kitchen and a screened terrace that is a generous 25'x 8'.
All suites at Ocean Club West are individually decorated. By booking my suite you know in advance which suite you are getting and avoid being randomly assigned a suite at check-in.
And don't forget the free telephone calls so that you can stay in touch with friends and family.

Why the Owner Chose Grace Bay
I looked at all of the possibilities before making my choice for Ocean Club West. I found the junior suite, at 920 square feet, was large enough to be a full time residence. The screened terrace, which almost becomes another room for the suite, and the beautiful gardens were also part of my decision. I also wanted a resort with tennis courts. The location in the middle of Grace Bay puts you in the center of things. and the airport is only a 20 minute drive away so getting to/from the resort is easy. The currency is the dollar. The electricity is 110v with the same plug we use in the States or Canada.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The brand new supermarket is in walking distance so no rental car is needed. Free phone calls to the United States and Canada which can save a lot of money. Upgraded linens (sheets and towels). Twice the size of other studios. Full kitchen. Nicely decorated with original art.
One of the closest restaurants with good food. A little more expensive than some, but not real pricey.
Thai Orchid Restaurant Garam Masala Restaurant The Vix Bar and Grill
One of my favorites. Good food, moderate prices, good service.
You need a car to get to this one as it is not walking distance from the resort. The newer store is within walking distance (see letter L).
The sister property of Ocean Club West. You may use the facilities at both resorts. Also the home of Opus Restaurant with outdoor or air conditioned indoor dining.

I can't say enough good things about this rental property. The unit itself is perfect. Beautiful and comfortable. Perfect location. Just steps to the resort pool, and not many more to the beach. Wonderful screened in patio to sit and relax, enjoy meals or drinks, or just enjoy the tropical breeze. I spent my nights relaxing on the patio with the pleasant tropical breeze. Patio allows easy access to pool/beach. Everything you may need is in this unit as stated in the owner's description. Photos are accurate. Full, well appointed kitchen. Large living/bedroom area, and a very nice bathroom. The unit is spotless clean, and everything is well-maintained. Great owner! The resort itself is the place to stay. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and extremely well-maintainted. Lounge chairs and umbrellas by the pool and on the beach are abundant and in great condition. The staff is always busy taking care of things at the resort, and they were all extremely pleasant. The resort's beach and ocean are truly special. This is within easy walking distance to several shops, including a grocery store where you can pick up items for your stay. There is also a great french bakery nearby; it became part of our routine for breakfast, and one day we even bought items for a light dinner on the patio. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and the restaurant/beach bar at the resort is also very good. We did a lot of beach walking when we were there and checked out a lot of the other resorts, and I would recommend this rental. We had a fantastic vacation. You will fall in love with Grace Bay, this resort, and this rental unit.

We stayed at this unit last July. We had previously stayed in Turks but at Beaches and fell in love with the area. We went home seriously planning on buying a condo here in a few years. Anyways, the owner was great to deal with, answered all my questions. We loved his unit, it was quite large and very well kept, the location on the resort was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. We loved the fact that it was a ground floor unit, and the enclosed patio allowed us to walk right out towards the water without tracking thru the unit. I can only say good things about our whole experience and we are looking forward to coming back, hoping to rent the same unit, this summer. I would recommend the resort and his unit to anyone. We actually loved Provo so much we had a real estate agent show us some other resorts to see where we wanted to buy and Ocean Club West won hands down. Part of the appeal is how close you are, within walking distance, to the IGA and the fact that the Resort has 2 communial BBQs that all guests can use.

First of all, please read all the other reviews as each of them is 100% correct! This owner is fabulous and you can trust everything he says. The unit is perfect for a couple and spotlessly clean with every amenity you might want. We particularly enjoyed the Sirius radio as well as the satellite TV so we didn't miss any of the baseball playoffs or Sunday football games. The ability to call home regularly using the Connecticut phone line was really great too. The owner provided us with lots of information regarding his unit, the resort and restaurant reviews which were really helpful to us as it was our first (but definitely not our last) visit to Turks & Caicos. The resort is perfect- large enough to have a tennis court, workout room, restaurant, etc. but not so large as to be impersonal. Each one of the employees we encountered were helpful and incredibly nice. Also, the restaurant in the resort has a new chef and the food is superb as is the new outside dining area which is right on the beach (very romantic). The beach is one of the nicest we've ever seen and the water is clear and that wonderful turquoise color. If you are going to travel to Turks & Caicos, you should stay here. Our experience with this owner proved to be a very positive one and we plan to go back again next year.

We arrived at our Jr. Suite to find a spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished living room/bedroom with a screened patio over looking a beautiful tropical garden with a swimming pool and the ocean beyond. The suite includes a compact kitchen with four burner stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker, full set of cutlery, dishes, cups, wine glasss etc. There is also a washer dryer so no need to bring too many clothes. Special features include a computer with internet connection, a kindle, Large screen TV, stereo, two phones and large ceiling fans. The grounds at Ocean Club West are beautifully planted with cocoanut palms, bouganvillia, hibiscus, and many other local plants and trees. The best feature is of course the magnificent twelve mile beach at Grace Bay. Acres of soft white sand, and the cool tuquoise Caribbean. Swimming in the Ocean or Pool is excellent. The Seaside Cafe, steps from the beach is an excellent spot for a rum punch, lunch or dinner. There are many fine resaurants within walking distance of Ocean Club West, for a dinner of native fish or lobster to end a day in Paradise. We would recommend this Suite without hesitation and are planning to return ouselves. The owner is very helpful with all details and provides complete instructions on every aspect of the condo.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

We echo all of the other reviewers comments! This place was so much better than staying in a regular hotel/resort room. It was so nice to be able to cook, grill and relax on the enclosed patio. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and listen to the ocean as we fell asleep. We would recommend this condo to anyone thinking about taking a trip to Provo.

My wife and I just returned from our stay at this suite, and it was a wonderful experience! The suite itself is fantastic, and surpasses the description online. It was very clean and well organized, the nicely-sized kitchen was fully stocked with appliances (and the fridge and cupboards even had condiments and spices!), and the accessibility to the pool, bar, and beach is exceptional. The local grocery store is quite pricey even by NYC standards, but that seems par for the course on the island. Grocery selection is good for essentials (including alcohol), and even has some staple items from the UK on the shelves. The Ocean Club West itself seems to be relatively quiet (though we were staying slightly off-season), with plenty of space to sit in the sun, read, and relax. If you're looking for a wild party, you should explore other resorts on the island (there's a Club Med down the beach). That said, the suite has plenty of room (and cups, plates, and utensils in the kitchen) to have people over for dinner or drinks if you make new friends while on your vacation! Local restaurants are walking distance from the suite, but taxis are also available starting at around $5 per person. We preferred to walk down the beach to other resorts' restaurants and dine there when we wanted a night out. The on-site cafe/bar provided some good food and drink as well. The owner responds promptly to enquiries and is very professional. I highly recommend the suite.

This condo is fabulous. Great views, so close to the ocean and pool and easy access to anywhere on the island. The owner was great to work with and his condo has everything and more than the listing describes. With the new IGA so close, it is very easy to be able to cook in if you wish. However, there are some great restaurants close by. Don't miss Coco Bistro, the food is great, but the setting is even better. I would recommend Turks & Caicos and this condo to anyone. This was our second visit to Turks & Caicos and it will not be our last!

The owner is great to work with. The studio exceeds what is described. Access to restaurants and the beach are FANTASTIC! It's been 2 yrs and we are trying to plan to come back.
