This spacious, breezy, and light-filled vacation condo, is actually a JUNIOR SUITE, located at the popular Ocean Club West on Grace Bay beach. At 950 sq ft this suite is TWICE THE SIZE OF MOST STUDIOS AND HAS A FULL KITCHEN.
This ground floor unit, with no stairs to climb, offers direct access from the screened terrace to a large free-form pool and a beach that Conde Nast Traveler Magazine considers one of the finest in world.
The suite offers 18 feet of sliding glass doors, which open onto the screened terrace and fill the suite with light and enhance the spacious feeling.
The suite's large - 25' by 8'- screened terrace makes a great space for cocktails, Caribbean dining, or relaxing with a book. Enjoy the ocean breeze throughout the day and night. You can even sleep with the sliders open to the screened terrace so that you can enjoy the ocean breezes. If you prefer to close the doors, the suite is fully air conditioned.
Most studios only offer a microwave in a galley kitchen, which makes eating at home a challenge unless you like TV dinners. But this JUNIOR SUITE offers a full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher giving you the ability to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner at home when you want.
Ocean Club West is one of the few resorts offering gas grills for the guests to use. It's hard to beat a nice steak dinner and glass of wine on your own terrace -- and eating in saves you money, too. In suite 516 you also enjoy cloth napkins and Riedel wine glasses. There's also a latte machine for those, like me, who enjoy good strong coffee and there's a coffee grinder in case you buy whole beans.
Exceptionally comfortable, the open floor plan with a king size bed makes it ideal for couples.
As an added benefit, suite 516 offers free calling from the suite to the United States and Canada. Calls from Providenciales to the United States and Canada are often billed by hotels at $2.00 per minute, which can add up fast. So whether you need to stay in touch with the office or just check and respond to the messages on your answering machine at home you'll be saving a bundle. I also provide a cell phone with free incoming calls while you are on the island.
Suite 516 offers its own wireless Internet network with a computer in the suite so that you can check your email or surf the web 24 hours a day without having to go to the lobby or bring your own computer. There is also a stereo with a connection for your Ipod/MP3 player which many suites don't offer.
At the resort you will find two tennis courts for both day and night play, and a fitness room for your use.
The resort has a casual restaurant, the Seaside Cafe, located on-site. Three more restaurants are located in the Ports of Call shopping village just down the block.
The Grace Bay beach is the main attraction. The magical crystal clear water, white sand and the world's third largest barrier reef combine to create an idyllic swimming environment. Thanks to the island's barrier reef the surf is usually only inches high, so the beach is great for children, as well as adults.
Ocean Club West is a highly desirable beachfront resort located on a low-density part of the beach on Grace Bay. We're next door to the Grace Bay Club, where rates start at $7980 per week in the winter. Our other neighbor is The Pinnacle, a 28 unit condominium where individual units started at $1.3 million.
Remember: This open floor plan -- 920 square feet--is the same size as many one bedroom suites, but here the open design creates a brighter, breezier, and beautifully decorated space. King size bed. Full kitchen. Screened terrace is a generous 25'x 8'.
All suites at Ocean Club West are individually decorated. By booking my suite you know in advance what you are getting and avoid being randomly assigned a suite at check-in.
And don't forget the free telephone calls so that you can stay in touch with friends and family. The suite even has a New York City phone number that you can give to your friends and family so that they can call you directly without paying for calls to the Caribbean.

Why the Owner Chose Grace Bay
I had vacationed on the island with its spectacular beach four times before making the decision to buy so I knew some of the properties, but I looked at them all before making my choice for Ocean Club West. I found studios to be too small, while the junior suite at 950 square feet could be a full time residence. The screened terrace, which almost becomes another room for the suite, and the beautiful gardens were also part of my decision. I also wanted a resort with tennis courts. The location in the middle of Grace Bay puts you in the center of things. and the airport is only a 20 minute drive away so getting to/from the resort is easy. The currency is the dollar. The electricity is 110v with the same plug we use in the States or Canada.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
The brand new supermarket is in walking distance so no rental car is needed. Free phone calls to the United States and Canada which can save a lot of money. Upgraded linens (sheets and towels). Twice the size of other studios. Full kitchen. Nicely decorated with original art.
The sister property of Ocean Club West. You may use the facilities at both resorts. Also the home of Opus Restaurant with outdoor or air conditioned indoor dining.
The Ocean Club West onsite dive shop arranges diving with free transfers to the boat.
Italian restaurant with good pizzas. Get a table on the terrace overlooking the water. Just before Turtle Cove.

Having owned a travel agency for 20 years, I have traveled extensively in the Caribbean. I, as well as the Conde Nast travelers have called Grace Bay one of the best beaches in the world. After two more trips to familiarize myself with all the possibilities (so that I didn't rush into something I would regret) I chose Ocean Club West.
