As far as locations go, it doesn't get much better than this.
Old world charm meets modern convenience, space, and comfort.

First built in the 1890s, this historic Old Town home has just been transformed into something truly special. It's a spacious 5 bed, 5 bath home only steps away from the Town Lift and whatever else you might want in Park City--restaurants, night clubs, ski shops, art galleries, cafes--it's all here within a short flat walk.

Our 909 Park Ave home has 5 large bedrooms, each with its own separate bath, flat screen LCD TV, and audio system. With two bedrooms on the main level and two downstairs, and a Master Suite upstairs, it's big and spread out enough to give groups plenty of room to relax in.

Let me tell you about the layout:
On the main floor there are 2 spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a dining room, an extremely well-organized mud room complete with a 12-pair boot dryer, laundry facilities, and a spacious kitchen tricked out with Viking and Sub-Zero appliances.

The lower level features 2 bedrooms each with it's own bath. One of the bedrooms is the bunk room, with 2 full-over full beds, and a twin trundle. Each bunk is large enough to accommodate an average size adult or a couple of kids. The lower level is also where the entertainment area is situated, with a 52" Sharp Aquios LCD TV, a large sectional couch, a wet bar with ice maker, microwave, and a Bosch dishwasher. There's also a bumper pool/ poker table, with a complete set of professional chips. You want xbox? We have it, along with 20+ xbox games, an electronic dart board and tons of board games.

The upper level features the Master Suite. It is over 600 sq feet, and has it's own floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, with a facing love seat. There's also matching sofa to read or watch the 42" flat screen LCD TV, and the bath features a steam room, multi-head shower, and a jetted air-tub. Some of our guests consider the maste suite another living room.

Outdoors you'll find a private 8-person Jacuzzi, big enough for a whole squad to soak away those aches from epic days on the Park City slopes....

Extras:
The home has Wi-Fi, and a house-wide audio system--bring your laptop or iPod and wire the house your way.

A keyless entry/security system lets you and your guests come and go as they please.

There is a secure ski locker just out side the mudroom. In addition, we have a lockable snowboard rack around back next to the Jacuzzi.

909 is at the base of Main street and the Town Ski Lift. All that Park City's Historic Main Street has to offer including the Town Lift Plaza are only an EASY 1 minute walk.

The Town Lift is never crowded! It drops you off at the top of Payday, right near the Bonanza hi-speed 6-person chair. Get first tracks without any hassle!

Two of Park City Resort's ski runs are within EASY walking distance to the home: Creole and Quit'n Time. You can walk to the lift in the morning, and ski home at the end of the day.

As far as locations go, it doesn't get much better than this.

Check out what the guests are saying

"If you are looking for the perfect house...you've found it. It is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, with every convenience you could ever want! We stayed here for a week (4 adults and 7 children). There was plenty of room to be together, and plenty of room to be alone.

While the house is wonderful, its key feature is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It is virtually ski in ski out (half a block to the lift).

As the chief internet searcher for our accommodation, I got many complements on finding this gem--from the kids and the adults--all week long!

If it is available...book it! You'll be glad you did!"

Here's another comment

"Spring break in Park City at the 909 Park Avenue in 2008 was spectacular. We had six adults and six kids and a mix of experienced and "newbie" skiers. Half of our group hailed from Northern Virginia and the other half from County Meath, Ireland.

Everyone raved about our accommodations - the kids were thrilled with the downstairs gaming system and the adults were thrilled that the kids entertained themselves when not on the slopes. Steve and Linda Ryan were gracious hosts - they stopped by to give us a quick guide through the home's many features. The tech-savvy members of our group enjoyed the wireless internet access as well as the sound system. Its the perfect house for a ski vacation - proximity to town lift, the ski locker and boot dryer in the house and the hot tub to relax at the end of the day!

Perfect house for large groups or multiple families. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen and be able to dine in since dining out with 6 kids is, generally, not fun! The adults in our group also enjoyed the proximity to nice restaurants and the Ryans provided a list of their favorite restaurants.

We definitely recommend 909 Park Avenue and would happily stay there again on our next trip. Plan ahead - this one is a gem!!"

    • We stayed at Steve and Linda's place the week of 1/31/09 - 2/7/09. the house is FABULOUS! We had four couples and two singles, and everybody was happy with the bedrooms. The master bedroom is terrific. One of the best aspects of the house is the "mudroom" where ski coats, gloves, hats, etc. can be stored. There is a terrific boot / glove dryer so nobody had wet ski boots in the morning. Some people are concerned about the location on Park (the main drag coming into town), but the place has terrific sound insulation, so we could watch cars going by but did not hear them. We love to cook, and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. I personally loved the Viking professional cooktop. The location doesn't get much better. It is less than a block walk to the Town Lift, and at the end of the day, you can ski all the way down to the base of the Town Lift, and not have to wait on busses. The shuttle stops are at the town lift as well, if you want to ski Deer Valley or The Canyons. The ultimate in convenience. We designated the basement family room the "Man Cave". It has a nice bar setup including refrigerator, a 50" (our guess) flat screen TV, and a poker table with a bumper pool table underneath. Great "guy" hangout. If your tastes are more for going to restaurants than cooking, it is a 2-block walk to Main St. and all of the restaurants. The best part is - no walking up & down stairs. Can't think of a better location for skiing convenience and access to the town. The restoration job on the house is terrific. Quite upscale. The Ryans hit a home run with this place. We highly recommend it!

    • I highly recommend this house to a large group or a smaller gathering. It is beautifully decorated with nice linens and extras like a coffee basket in the kitchen and a lotion/soap/shampoo basket in the bathrooms. There are two living areas (3 if you count the master living) to spread out or cozy up in. The location is great for walking to Main Street or skiing in. The owners were available for any questions or needs. I have already reserved it for next year!

    • Wow... where do I even start with a review for this amazing place? We had a group of 7 guys in town for a combination business meeting/ski trip Dec 5-8, 2007. Everyone in the group was very impressed with the comfort and amenities of this house. The recently completed remodel didn't miss a single detail. Everything was top-of-the-line in comfort, convenience and quality. The location of this house was perfect! A very short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, and the Old Town ski lift. The transit center is also a short walk away. From there you can pick up a free bus to any of the three nearby ski resorts, the outlet shops by I-80, or just about anywhere else you would want to go. The bedroom layout comfortably accommodated our group of 7 with each person having their own bed (still leaving a couple empty beds). It snowed quite a bit while we were there (Dec 5-8, 2007) so the heated driveway and walkway were very helpful and kept us from having to dig the cars out each morning. The multiple shelves of boot and glove dryers in the mud room had more than enough capacity for all of our equipment and ensured that we started the next ski day with dry boots and gloves. The master bedroom was the ultimate in luxury. It makes up the entire top floor with a king size bed, couches, fireplace, huge walk-in closet and an unbelievable bathroom complete with steam room and jetted tub. The kitchen had a large Viking gas stove, Subzero fridge, beautiful granite counters, purified water faucets and gorgeous brand new cabinets. The rec room downstairs was a great place to relax with all the right features including large flat-screen TV, leather couches, poker table (with cards & chips), bumper pool, darts, X-box with games, board games and mini bar (with fridge, sink, purified water faucet). The audio system in this house was pretty incredible. Every room has its own audio controls and MP3 player inputs. Not to mention flat screen TVs throughout the house! Everyone in our group had a laptop with them so the wireless internet was especially useful for us. Of course, no ski trip would be complete without a jacuzzi to relax in after a day on the slopes and this house has that covered too. As if the house were not enough, the owners (Steve and Linda) were terrific to work with. They were both very helpful in answering questions and helping me work out some of the details of the trip. Steve met us at the house when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, pointing out various helpful details along the way. We didn't see Steve the rest of the time we were there but he made sure we knew he was available for any questions or problems. It was the perfect combination of being left alone to enjoy the trip while still having help readily available if it was needed. I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in Park City for business or pleasure. Regards, Don Thelander Scottsdale, AZ
