Enjoy watching the birds and turtles as you have your morninig coffee in this quiet and clean 1200 sq ft, two bedroom, two bath, 2nd floor, end unit condo, in the Wild Pines community of Bonita Bay, a premier development in Bonita Springs. Unit is available on a weekly, monthly or seasonal basis. We have a high speed wireless network connection. We prefer Saturday to Saturday rentals.
The unit is tiled with carpeted bedrooms. The sliding glass doors in the living room and master bedroom open onto a screened lanai with a lake/wooded view. There are cable TVs in both bedrooms, a DVD player/large flat panel High Defintion LCD Sony TV in the living room, and a CD/stero in the dining area. Unit has central air conditioning with ceiling fans in both bedrooms, the lanai, and kitchen. There are two bicycles, with locks, available for your use.
Within the Wild Pines complex, there is a screened-in club house and a community pool and spa. The club house has rest rooms, refrigerator and tables for eating or socializing. Just steps away from the pool are gas grills and tennis courts exclusively for Wild Pines.
Bonita Bay is a premier community located in Southwest Florida covering 2,400 acres. This gated community offers multi-million dollar homes, luxury condominiums, and villas. Bonita Bay is one of the top golf communities in America and has received awards for excellence. Bonita Bay offers more free amenities to its guests than any other development in the area. Amenities include:
- Dining at Bonita Bay's own Backwater Jacks restaurant. Its a great place for family and friends to gather every morning for coffee. Credit cards are welcome.
- Free shuttle service to Bonita Bay’s private Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico from Thanksgiving through April. Beach club features at no cost, rest rooms, fresh water showers, beach chairs, umbrellas, and shaded picnic pavilions with charcoal grills. (You can also drive your own car to the beach club.)
- A fishing pier, nature trails, a butterfly garden, playground, picnic area, and board walk to Estero Bay are in the Estero Bay Park area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Pines in Bonita Bay. I especially liked the sliding glass windows on the lake side that would totally open the wall facing the lake. We slept soundly on a very comfy bed to the sound of insects and the breeze through the brushy vegetation. The kithchen had all the utensiles necessary to cook with, though we only did breakfasts. There is a Public's Grocery Store in the shopping center straight across RT 41 on the right from the main gate. The only thing I could see as an improvement would be a new microwave; it works but it is dated.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

The condo was very comfortable and well equipped with anything you could want. Since we were there with young children who hate riding in car seats, we much appreciated the fact that so much was within walking distance. You could walk to a shopping center and restaurants. The swimming pool is across the street. We walked to playgrounds with the children, and hopped on the shuttle to the beach. The only time we took the kids for a drive was to meet some friends at a beach and to go to the Naples Zoo. The fact that is was an upstairs condo was not a problem for us, but it might be for someone who is more senior than these two grandparents.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the holidays at Wild Pines in Bonita Bay. We appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of the unit and the close proximity to excellent tennis courts, pool and spa. The biking trails made for a great bike rides, and we took full advantage of the kayaking and canoeing. My son and I spent over three hours kayaking with a dolphin on Christmas Eve! Manatees were also seen. We spent nearly every day golfing for excellent twilight rates at a Troon course in Ave Marie (Panther run) and even played a couple of rounds in the evening at the par 61 lighted course at The Links of Naples. Excellent location to everything, safe and recommended rental. All appliances work as they should; well stocked kitchen.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
