Villa Debra is the only 4 bedroom home situated directly on the beach which is available for rent in Costa del Sol - a luxury oceanfront community. The front door is only 65 feet from the turquoise and transparent sea. The sea in front is within the bounds of the Cozumel Reefs National Park. This home is located just south of Chankanaab National Park and only a 15 minute drive to downtown San Miguel. This luxurious home is part of the new community Costa del Sol, with 24 hour security, 135 ft pier, 400 ft beach, infinity pool plus children's pool. Diving clubs can rent multiple homes in the community to accommodate larger groups. Just ask me about this.

This four-bedroom home has three bedrooms on the first floor, each with a private bath. And, an incredibly huge second floor master suite with double bathroom. There are gorgeous views of the water from most every room and the "million-dollar view" from the second floor deck which will accommodate a large group. The first floor is spacious and open with a completely equipped kitchen which flows into the large dining room with seating for twelve. The living room, as well as the first floor master bedroom, is a wall of windows with a direct view of the water.

  • My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary in the Caribbean with our children and we heard that the island of Cozumel was a great family vacation place. We did our internet research and saw many beachfront homes in the island. When we saw the pictures of Debra Villa... the amenities, location and the home was perfect for our needs. We booked the Villa in July of 2009. Deb (the owner) was a great hostess she met us at the Airport and helped us get a car rental. Since it was our first time in the island she recommended restaurants, shopping, and attractions. When Deb showed us the Villa for the first time, it was everything the website listed and more than what we expected. The home was beautiful, immaculate, spacious; and the rooms were large with their own private bathrooms. The Master Bedroom was located in the entire second floor with a separate balcony. The master bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi tub and a glass shower. The private pier was a few steps away from the Villa and my husband and the kids jumped off the pier everyday and snorkeled in the aquamarine ocean. They saw the most amazing and colorful fishes. As soon as they were done swimming in the ocean they jumped in the infinity pool which was close to the Villa. The grounds were cleaned and well maintained daily. The property was located in a private secluded area of the island with other Villas but was convenient to attractions such as Paradise Beach and Chankanaab Park. My children went parasailing at Paradise Beach and swimming with the dolphins at Chankanaab Park. It was a wonderful experience and they had a great time. Many restaurants were close by such as the Monkey Bar which we loved and snorkeling was great there too. Deb recommended the Kinta Restaurant in downtown and we had dinner their our last night. We ate outdoors and the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely recommend the Debra Villa to family and friends. The only problem we had was that we had only rented the Villa for one week and wished we had stayed for two weeks which we will definitely do the next time we visit Cozumel.

  • If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful Villa, very reasonably priced, in a secluded setting where you can actually relax and enjoy your stay on the island, then by all means, check this out. Eight of my family members, recently stayed at the Villa Debra for a week. Each of us had our own private quiet place, and there is plenty of room for everyone to gather together for fun and activities also. It is located directly on the calm (west side) of the island, with a beautiful beachfront, and dock for boats to pick you up for sea adventures, such as scuba, snorkeling, fishing, or whatever you might desire. The property management team is totally professional, and never intrusive. The grounds are kept immaculate, and the Villa is set up for your comfort, with all the conveniences of home, and more. We rented a couple of Jeeps to travel around the island, and do our own exploring. The east (Windward side of the island) is amazingly beautiful with large surf, and aqua blue waters for you camera buff's. The Mayan ruins at San Gervasio, should be on your agenda also. You can really get a feel for what the island was all about, centuries past. Shopping is a trip in itself. The Chedraui shopping center offers a "Super Wal-Mart" style of shopping, with everything under the sun. The island people are very friendly, and most speak decent english, but knowing some basic Spanish, is a real plus. We mostly cooked our own meals at the Villa, but did venture in to town for a couple dinner's. One night we went to the Presidente Intercontinental for Italian food, and once to Pepe's Grill. Both were excellent upscale restaurants, and we were very pleased with the service, and quality. Just south of the Villa, there are 2 very nice beach resorts, open to the public, where you can meet other island hoppers, for some real fun in the sun.Basically, the whole southern end of the island is tailored to visitors, seeking a good time on their vacation, whether it be for a quiet, relaxing time, or all out adventurous fun. All in all, I would have to say, if you are looking for value, in a very comfortable vacation, without having to empty the kids college account, or taking out a 2nd on your house, just to enjoy some time off, you should consider looking in to this Villa.
