We stayed at this property August 29th through September 4th 2010. The location can not be beat. You are within walking distance to the beach, beach pool, boathouse pool, park, wine shop and SEASIDE! Perfect location! Loved the Master Bedroom - it's very large and the bed is very comfortable! Enjoyed the large and open family room, comfy couches. The house was clean and nicely furnished. There are a couple negatives to report; the master bathroom sinks are terribly small and extremely awkward. You can't lean over far enough to wash your face without getting water all over the floor. It was pretty inconvenient. There is no ice maker in the kitchen, so plan on buying lots of ice. The kitchen sink and faucet should be replaced. No matter how carefully you turned the water on, water sprayed all over the counters. The spare bedroom with the four bunk beds could really use additional storage. There was only one dresser for four people to share. The only other inconvenience was that besides the master bath, there was only one other bathroom on the 2nd floor to be shared by 6 other people. The sunshine, the beach, the pools, the bike trails, the family time all far outweigh those minor negatives of the house.

Our family (4 adults, 3 children) stayed a week in June. House is very nice and beautifully decorated - every room looks like a page from the Pottery Barn catalog. Great location very convenient to the beach. Kitchen has all the amenities of home but could use an icemaker. We were pleased to find a very generous supply of white fluffy towels plus a starter supply of toilet paper, dish soap, shampoo and other essentials. Must warn those with bad knees or small children that all bedrooms are upstairs and staircase is very long and steep. Also there are no window coverings on first floor, although there is some amount of shrubbery that provides partial privacy. Jeremy Sprenkle who manages this property was very attentive to our needs. We would definitely rent from him again and look forward to returning to the Watercolor area for future family vacations.

Two couples and four children under the age of 5 rented this house. We had a blast! The kitchen was well appointed. The house was clean and ready for us. The 4 bikes were a real bonus. We brought along our bike trailers for the kids and rode all over Seaside and Watercolor. Although you can rent bikes in Watercolor or Seaside, the can run out of them, so it was nice to know we could count on the ones here. The property owner/manager, Jeremy Sprenkle was wonderful to work with. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. - Houston renter Houston, TX 7/2008

Watercolor was a great vacation destination for our family. We loved every minute of our stay. The home we rented was "picture perfect;" so, too, was the entire community. We played tennis, hung out at the pool, played in the ocean and enjoyed the company of our friends. Having the bikes at our disposal made it so easy to get around. We stayed in this houae last summer and had a very, very positive experience. The owners, Jeremy Sprenkle and his brother, were very helpful and easy to work with. The house was clean and exactly as it appears in the photos. The bikes were a fabulous addition to the house. We brought our own bike trailer and biked pretty much everywhere. My only correction is that it is more than a block to the beach from this house. Although, you could walk to the beach from the house, I would recommend taking the bikes. I would definately recommend this house or any other house this owner has for rent.
