This property is everthing one would expect from a super luxury property! No detail was left to chance. Our group was three families with children at various ages. The ski in/walk out option was perfect and allowed for lunched at home if desired. We will definetly book again!

We stayed at the home with our 2 children- ages 11 and 13- for the week of 4th of July, and the home could not have been more perfect. Close to hiking trails, views of the mountains, sounds of the nearby creek, the home was also complete with board games, a hot tub and movies. When we were not enjoying the outdoors, Mountain Village and Telluride, we could all relax together or get our own quiet time given the spaciousness of the house. All of the rooms and bathrooms were perfect, and the 3 levels of the house provided privacy for all. Thanks for a great week!

We enjoyed our stay in Telluride and at the house on Cabins Lane a lot. The town is beautiful with excellent skiing. The house was well located in Mountain Village - a short drive to the market and gondola and a short walk to the ski run. The home is clean and very well appointed. Our family had a wonderful time and look forward to returning soon.

We had a wonderful family get-together (2 Families w/children age 4 thru "25"); Landlord is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Easy ski-in, very acceptable 100 yard hike for ski-out. Good for warm up! House is generous in size and has a very comfortable feel to it, especially the kitchen, dining, family room area, where groups large or small can comfortably gather!

Linh... Thank you so much for your hospitality and beautiful home. Our vacation was wonderful and your home was a big part of that. From the basket of hand warmers to the Williams Sonoma soaps and lotions, the details were more than we expected. And your communication and ease of access are top notch. So... For those of you considering this home, look no further. For the cooks, there are plenty of necessities available: spices, oils etc... And other visitors have left their "extras" as we did. For those of you who ski: the access / ski mobile trail on your left as you enter lift #12 made the ski back home a breeze and it brings you back directly in front of the house with a quick slide down the snow bank... (when you are a little way down the access trail, as soon as you see the lift signs and split on the trail get up some speed and go straight up the one small hill) Easy Easy.. And even though we had a rental car, we used the free car service several times, so no car is needed. I can't say enough about your "cabin" and many thanks for all you did to make this an easy choice. Hope to see you again next year!!!

Our family spent 5 very comfortable nights at this Mt Village log home during a snowy time - some 15 inches fell during our stay and made for great snow and skiing. The house is nestled among big trees along a short road with several other homes just below lift 5. The home is cozy and comfortable with great ambiance. We stayed in the main part of the house with 3 bedrooms and had plenty of space for the 6 of us. We did not use the room above the garage, but it looks roomy, has a separate bath and could accommodate 3 more easily with easy access up an outside staircase from the main house. Ski in is just that, you can ski right to the house from a catwalk at the bottom of lift 5; ski out is not as easy, as there is a short walk to the Lower Sundance run for access to bottom of lift 10. We all enjoyed the snowy visit to this comfy log home!

We just came back from a week stay in this log home and we couldn't ask for anything else! The home far exceeded what the beautiful pictures showed! It felt like we were at home...the cabin was clean and had the most updated furniture and appliances (not to mention the lovely Williams Sonoma scent of soap and lotion). Linh was so easy to work with, and always let you know that she's a phone call away for any questions. I almost don't want to recommend this cabin to our friends, because I'm afraid they'll beat us to it! Will definitely come back to this one if available the next time we are in Telluride!

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The VRBO experience--our first--was great. The owner was personal and helpful; this was more like staying at the house of a friend than some impersonal corporate rental experience. Highly recommended if you are staying in Telluride. It's far better than staying in town, which we considered. The town is nice to visit but the mountains are so much prettier to stay in, and the accommodations, like this house, are much nicer than what you find in town. The Nguyen house has plenty of room, too, which we liked, and everything--hot tub, etc.--was nicely maintained and clean.

March 2010This comment is a bit late but we still rave about our awesome stay February break week at the Nguyen's home and the great time we had at Telluride! There is plenty of space in their home for a group of two families (12 people). The 2 living areas worked perfect for entertaining everyone's interests. Upstairs was cozy for viewing the Olympic Games and inspiring our skiing for the next day. My daughter, the only girl in the gang, made a private spot for herself in the loft area! Easy access to the Cabin was nice to be able to let tired skiers finish early and/or save a few $'s by having lunch in. Linh was excellent to work with and responded to calls when needed right away! Hot Tub was awesome. Excellent vacation rental and will be back for another stay... hopefully sooner than later!

We had a great time staying at this house over President's Day weekend. The house is very spacious and very well taken care of and the owners are very quick to respond if you need anything taken care of. The house is in a great location and the transportation service available within Mountain Village worked very well. We would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at the Nguyen's home in Telluride, had 11 people for a 5 day ski trip. The home is perfect for groups/families, enough privacy when needed and plenty of gathering space. All the amenities are high end (6 burner gas stove is great for large meals!!), great hot tub for the soar muscles... The Nguyen's are great to work with, very accommodating and helpful when needed. For the skiers, ski in access from base of lift 12 is perfect. For the powder nuts, get in the trees on the access run for good, deep snow. Our group will be repeat renters over the coming years, no need to look elsewhere after this stay!

The cabin was perfect for our group. The dial a ride shuttle worked very well and the cabin is close to everything in MV and the gondola. The kitchen was also well equipped for cooking as several MV places were closed for the season. Great stay!

This is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. We had two families staying in the house and loved the fact that there were two living areas w/bedrooms on separate floors so each was able to have their own space. The house was well appointed with amenities and the owners were easily to work with. We can't wait to go back!

We love this house!! This is the second year we have rented it and will hopefully rent it again next year. It is set up so well and is very comfortable. The Mountain Village shuttle system also made it very easy to get around. We didn't ski in/out as much this year but left skis etc. at the ski valet most days. We feel very much at home here and it makes a big difference in our vacation.

We were so thrilled with this gorgeous home and everything it (and Telluride) had to offer. The location was private, yet close to the heart of Mountain Village, so trips to the store and to the gondolas were always convenient. This truly is a beautifully decorated luxury log cabin, and no detail has been spared. In addition, the owners were extremely attentive and easy to work with. We couldn't wait to come "home" each night during our vacation. Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

We have stayed in Vail, Beaver Creak, Tahoe, and this topped all of those! Everything is first rate - the bedding, the kitchen, decor, proximity to skiing, the complimentary transportation service, and all the nice touches that the owners provide. Beautiful home - we'll definitely rent again!

Wow, what a great house! Whta great owners~!Luxury plus to satisfy the most discriminating guest, with 2 very comfortable and well decorated family rooms, 2 fireplaces, and a very functional and comfortable office/sleeping loft with 2 desks, wireless internett access and a great printer. Our realtor friends loved it! The kitchen is fantastic, so great that we only ate out twice! A nice touch is that they don't throw away the previous guest's groceries if they are reusable. What a nice surprise to find all the basics there already, including pasta, hot chocolate and everything we needed to make chili! Lovely view of the peaks tucked between pines and Aspens give a nice view plus total privacy. Little details are everywhere, from trail maps and hand warmers, to robes and huge towels for the hot tub and nice toiletry supplies. The steam shower didn't hurt the experience either. I could go on and on. OH, and Kim and Linh, thanks for the Starbucks package! And I don't know if you left the wine or the previous party left it but thanks for that too!!! Suffice to say we will be back!

Easy accees to ski out, and fun, fun ski home on your own private ski road! The kitchen has everything you need to cook great meals. HIghly recommended. We will be back!

This was absolutely the best vacation home we've rented ever in our lives. It has a wonderful layout, a fantastic kitchen and living area, and an unbelievable amount of space. We took a total of 9 people and never felt cramped. Be sure to rent the extra apartment if you're taking a bunch of teenagers. It's well worth it. If you're looking for a house to rent in Telluride, this is it!

GREAT HOME! BEAUTIFUL! Very peaceful and quiet, fairly secluded area (we even had fresh bear prints outside one morning). We loved the privacy, the location next to the river, the neighborhood, the proximity to the gondola to go into town and the village, the décor, the layout, the toddler bed (thanks for that), the washer and dryer, the hot tub (although when the jets were turned on it made everyone cough and choke so we didn’t use them)… we loved the place! We'll definitely stay again!
Owner response:Glad you had a great time! We've had the jets adjusted accordingly.
