A lot of house for the price whether you choose to come during our off season (November through March) for $50.00 per night, $300.00 per week up to 4 people. $5.00 each additional person after the first 4 people up to 6 persons in a family. Or our summer rate (April through October) for $75.00 per night or $500.00 per week it is still a bargain.
Within 5 minutes of numerous recreational activities. An 18 hole Championship golf course within walking distance; about a block and a half. Bring your golf cart or boat and park off road on a large cement parking area or pull off the street onto a graveled parking area. We offer 7 lakes to fish from and all have boating ramps to unload your boat or you may rent a boat from the nearby marina on Thunderbird Lake; or one of the other lakes. You can be as active as you like or lounge on the screened veranda and watch the wildlife, which include, numerous species of birds, deer, opossum, and an occasional raccoon.
Within 2 hours of 3 airports, Memphis; Little Rock and Branson.
Located within 1 mile of several points to access South Fork River for kayaking; fishing; canoeing or tubing and a 4 mile float trip down stream ends in Spring River where you can easily be picked up at several rendezvous points. Or go toward Mammoth Springs (within 16 miles) of several canoe rentals where they take you by bus, up stream, for a float trip of a life time down Spring River. then return to Waltz Inn for an evening of relaxation. Waltz Inn offers privacy from all sides.
A spacious 2 story home with a queen size bedroom on the main floor plus a twin size and king size bedrooms downstairs. Each floor has a large bathroom: the main bathroom has a dressing room before you enter the tub and commode area. The living room is bright and sunny with access to a screened veranda; perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or even breakfast on. A large den with a comfortable queen-size hide-a-bed (perfect for your extra guests): plus a utility room complete with ironing board and iron complete the down stairs. The layout of the house offers privacy on each floor with common living areas for 2 families or friends of your choosing.
There are 2 swimming pools in Cherokee Village if more tame water is your forte. We also have 2 tennis courts.
Near by is old Hardy town with many antique shops and an abundance of other unique places to drop in. Nearby Mammoth Springs offers a view of one of the largest natural springs in the United States or you can drop in and visit the Fish Hatchery at Dam 3. The fish hatchery at dam 3 is one of only 3 of it's kind in the world. We are 3 hours drive from 3 airports: Memphis, Little Rock or Branson. What ever your forte may be Cherokee Village has it all. |
