  My family and I had a good time here, but what made it the best was dealing with tybee rentals. My brother was able to get leave and join us there, and they gave us more parking. The whole trip was better because he could join us. The location was the best anything we wanted to do was really close fishing and going out at night we had a great time. Thanks for letting us stay.

  Would recommend this condo to anyone! Very nice, clean and great updates including great kitchen, and nice bathrooms. We were disappointed that the pool was out of order, otherwise no complaints. Porta crib and high chair would be great additions to this property. Rental for these items in the area is very high.

  Owner response: I am so glad this guest had a pleasant stay! Cleanliness is very important to me, and I love for my guests to be comfortable. In the 5 years since the pool has been open, this is the first time it has ever been closed for repairs and all repairs were completed in 3 days.

  Five of my girlfriends and I traveled all the way from South Carolina to stay in this beautiful condo, and was well worth the trip! The condo exceeded our expectations! It was so beautiful and provided plenty of space for us all. The kitchen was fully stocked with tools so that we could have dinner in when we wanted. The place is a perfect distance from nearby restaurants and shops, which we enjoyed as well. The surrounding area is really cute and fun to walk around. The beach access is literally STEPS away, and we enjoyed spending the day on the beach. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone!! There was also lots of information in the condo about stuff to do in Tybee and in Savannah. We got numbers for several tours/restaurants from the books and brochures provided and had a truly enjoyable trip.

  First impression is that the condo is lovely. But as you start to look around and use some of the amenities, you find out it's not so good. The drinking cups are plastic and warped by the dishwasher. the only sauce pan was a small, rusted pan. It was awful. Some of the utencils were melted also.The only "spices" that were in the house were salt and pepper, so bring others with you. If you find crushed red pepper, it's mine!! The pool is private to the condo, but while I was there, the neighborhood kids were in the pool. The fixtures in the bathroom (guest) were loose. The curtain hanging in the guest bedroom near the slider is all ripped at the bottom. The main problem was "cockroaches". We noticed one the second night there and then 3-4 the next night. Called the office and someone came to spray the unit. He sprayed the bathroom and behind the dishwater as there were two seen among the dishes!!! For the next few days, maybe saw one or two, but did see some on the last day. I didn't pay all that money to share the unit with roaches! Even though the unit was lovely, I would not rent there again. If I were you looking at my review, take is seriously......the roaches were there!!!!

  Owner response: I appreciate this very detailed review. I am truly sorry,that this guest's experience was not like all the other guests that have stayed here. In addressing the things mentioned: --upon inspection, there were two plastic drinking cups that were not perfect circles. There were, however, a full set of glassware including full and juice glasses as well as 8 wine glasses. --the small sauce pan (one of the 7 pots and pans in the kitchen) did have some rust and was replaced. If the guest had called the management service, they would have replaced it right away. --we don't advertise a "fully stocked" kitchen with herbs, spices, etc. You will find salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar packets and powdered creamer there though-- --the "neighborhood kids" in the pool were actually relatives of guests upstairs from the unit staying at a house down the street. Since they were relatives of guests, they were allowed to use the pool --there is a repair service available 24/7, but yet the service stated that this guest did not call them about the fixtures or the curtain. Had they called them, the problem would have been taken care of promptly as all guest's requests are. -- now to address the "beach bugs". The contract signed for the rental is a standard one that is used for over 100 units on the beach. It has a specific paragraph dedicated just to the beach bugs. It states that to help this situation, the renter agrees to keep all food in closed containers and no food will be left out in the bedrooms etc. This may not have been followed. It is par for the course that if you stay at the beach, you will see a bug. This unit as well as all 6 units in the building are attended to every month to avoid this problem. I contacted my other neighbors in the building after I read this review and no one has had any issues like what was described at all, and two of my neighbors live there most of the time. --- The unit was rented for 7 days, but yet the agency, other than being asked to "spray for bugs" had no idea this guest was unhappy. They stayed the entire 7 days and paid in full without notifying anyone that they were dissatisfied. The agency was very surprised, in fact, when I showed them this review as they are always attentive to the guests and certainly would have done whatever it took to make them happy. I would have liked the opportunity to address this guest's concerns at the time. However, since I was not given the chance, I can only respond to this review."

  We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation at this beach condo and found so many fun things to do on Tybee. The condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed an evening walk on the beach after dinner each night. The brochures we found in the coffee table helped us set up our daily entertainment like going on a dolphin tour, seeing wildlife on Oatland Island, renting bikes from Tim's, and enjoying the sea creatures found at the Marine Science center right down the street. Our family truly had a vacation at the beach we will always remember. I would recommend this condo on Tybee to anyone who wants to enjoy an adventurous and relaxing beach vacation.

  My children and I rented this condo in April of 2008 and it was great. Little expensive but nice. The heater in the pool did not work and we contacted the service center but they did not get it fixed the week we were there so we just swam at the beach. So if your looking for somewhere nice to stay that is clean and feels like home and is great if you have children this is the place and maybe in time the owner will come down on the price some.

I'm not sure why this renter chose to submit this review longer than 2 years after staying here....but the pool is now solar heated so there is no chance of it breaking ever again. The price of the condo is very, very competitive...the price has not increased in the past 3 years. Tybee Island's condos can be over 30 years old! This condo is new and clean with modern stainless appliances, top quality bedding, and a flat screen Tv. We are located "beach side of Butler" which is important when choosing a convenient location to the beaches. I offer senior and military discounts as well and I run many, many specials in the off season. Call me or e-mail me for the latest specials!
