We stayed here for a week, and it was wonderful! It was stocked very well, more than what we had expected and that was greatly appreciated! Would definitely return to this condo if we were to visit Maui again! It is well maintained and exactly as described on the vrbo website. The process of reserving went very smoothly! Was a pleasant experience! :)Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Nalu. The location was perfect...100 steps to the beautiful beach. The condo was nicely furnished and had everything we needed to make our stay a perfect one. The owner was very nice to work with and the condo complex was full of friendly owners and guests. We are looking forward to coming back and staying here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at your condo in the first week of March for 2 nights. I am writing to thank you once again for allowing us to use your condo on such a short notice and for offering us a good price for the duration of our stay. And because it was possible at the time, we also greatly appreciate allowing us to check-out at a later time. This enabled us to enjoy our last day at Maui a little bit longer. The condo was clean, roomy, nicely furnished and overall just a pleasure to stay in. It completely met our expectations, if not more. We also met Nancy, who was very friendly and left the condo spotless. The property was located in a perfect area - close to shops, beaches, parks, restaurants, etc. Even though the building is just off the main drag, the area was very quiet at night and we were able to sleep peacefully with the windows and balcony open, and the ocean breeze cooling down the rooms to a comfortable temperature. The beaches nearby were clean, not too busy and excellent for swimming. We really liked the grassy area with the lounge chairs by the water on the ocean side of the property. We were able to sunbathe without getting sand all over us and our belongings. Overall, the condo and the surrounding property were fantastic and we will definitely book it again on our next trip back to Maui. My family and I stayed here for a Christmas getaway! We had a great time, everything you would need is within walking distance, driving to Wailea for more shops and restaurants is quick and easy. We actually prefer this side of the island to the kaanapali side which is a little more wet and busy. The beach is so close and sunsets are beautiful! Kids had a great time making new friends. Definitely recommend to everyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We loved this condo for our two-week stay in December 2012. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing between beach visits. Speaking of the beach ... wow! This really is the softest sand beach on Maui. Just pristine. We also loved the green space between it and the condo, which allowed our kids to play outside at sunset without getting covered in sand. Across the street was everything we needed for food and shopping: an organic grocery store, an ice cream parlor, gift shops, and many affordable restaurants. (AVOID the Denny's!) We had rented a car for our trip, but if (and when) we rent this condo again, we won't need a car. Everything is within walking distance. If you want to do all the touristy stuff like the aquarium, Lahaina, Wailea shops, luau, etc., then yes, you will need a car, but if you're looking forward to a vacation spent lying on the beach, trying a few new restaurants, and cooking organic meals in your own condo (or on-site barbeque), then you don't need a car. We can't wait to return!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

2011 we stayed at the condo for 4 wks., and loved every minute. We returned 2012 for 5 wks. because we can't get enough of the beautiful beach, location, centrally located to everything. Jim the owner is very accomodating to all needs, and supplies the condo with everything you might need for your entire stay. Family friendly complex for which we've made alot of new friendships. We look forward to our return in 2013Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our 5 week stay at Kamaole Nalu was all it said it would be. Perfect location, fine beaches, and many nearby amenities. It would be very easy to stay there without a car, assuming you did not want to do a lot of sightseeing. Good backup from the owners who were most cooperative in tending to our needs. Nice place, would return again, and would recommend this condo to friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This was a great location for our family and the condo had everything we needed with 2 small children. The beach was so close to the unit and the grounds we always kept in great condition. The condo is located on a great beach that has the most incredible sunsets every night, with Molokai and Lanai in the backround and Mt. Haleakala reflecting the sunset from the east. The condo is a perfect beach place. Very clean, stocked with every typical ammenity and more. A strong breeze flows through the living room when the slider to the deck and front loovers are open. The deck has a great view of the ocean and sunset. I used the BBQ 3 times while I was there. They were good quality and I never had to wait for one. Having the washer and dryer made it a less stressfull trip. The Kamaole II beach has snorkeling equal to some of the best Ive seen on Maui down on the south end of the beach. I saw a few sea turtles right off the beach and there are some amazing reefs right there. Its definitely in the best part of Kihei. Lots of cool restaraunts in a short walk and a cool bar. Everything was in very good condition. I went across the entire island all week and saw some great beaches. Towards the end of my stay I realized that there was no need to go anywhere because this beach was as good or better than any other I had seen. I have stayed in Kaanapali and Kamaole is a much more kid-friendly beach. It is flatter and doesn't have a steep drop-off when you walk in the water. IT is also less crowded. Each day this place grew on me more and more.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The property is in a perfect location in South Maui. I love the fact the property is right on the beach but still has a grassy area. This let us hang out in the sand, but when we didn't want to get sandy...we hung out in the grass! The unit was very comfortable, had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Even has items for water sports (boogie boards, floats, bags, etc). There is free parking on-site also. There are a number of great restaurants nearby as well as a nice little market directly across the street. Everything was super convenient. The big resorts are down the road---which is nice to attend a luau. I am very happy to have used this property and definitely will be using it again next time I make it out to Maui.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

They really thought of everything. The location was terrific. My wife and 3 young kids were very comfortable. The location was so nice we didn't need to go anywhere. We throughly enjoyed our stay and were sorry to leave. The condo was very comfortable and convienently located for everyone in our group. The beach was very nice and we could even see whales from our deck and even from the bed in the master bedroom! There is excellent snorkeling and many other activities nearby. This renovated unit is very clean is welcoming. The close acces to the beach and the grass in front of the ocean is perfect to lay down on a chair and relax. The beds were confortable, pool was clean. We only had some problems with the internet and the phone. We loved our stay!! and recommand it.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
