Why the Owner Chose Paradise Valley
Our son, Paul, wanted to purchase a home in Montana. We joined in the purchase with him. We fell in love with this home and its location on the Yellowstone River.
The Unique Benefits at this House
You can fly fish from the river bank, swim (life preservers recommended) play horseshoes, float the river in a tube, boat, raft or life preserver, picnic or just relax and watch the river flow by. Deer use the 800 acre undeveloped land next door to the south as a river crossing, you can too for hiking. There is a bald eagle that fishes and patrols the river. White pelicans float downstream often.

The availability of your property afforded us our first Montana Christmas after seventeen years of visits to the Big Sky Country. “Peace I ask of thee O River Peace Peace Peace When I learn to live serenely Cares will cease From the hills I gather courage Visions of the days to be Strength to lead and faith to follow Till all are given unto me Peace I ask of the O’River Peace, Peace, Peace” With our gratitude,

We had a fabulous two nights and three days at “Point of View”. This is our second “girls weekend” spent in your comfortable home. We locked ourselves out in our excitement to explore the patio and take pictures. With help from a sweet neighbor and instructions from Gordon we were back inside to save the bree turning brown in the over, the blazing pellet stove and the burning candles. Disaster averted! Thank you for providing us with the perfect place to catch up and relax.

Five Sundays in Paradise Valley. Just what the Episcopal Priest and his lovely wife needed. We began planning this trip in February to celebrate my 60th, her 50th, and 10 years married. Our time here was everything and more than we could ask or imagine. Thank you, Gordon and Pat for providing this awesome space--- God is very near it and you!

Pat and Gordon, Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home to celebrate our anniversary. Sometime all you need is to get lost in nature. The cool fresh air, the first snow of the year makes cuddling up in your cozy home even more enjoyable. We are leaving here refreshed and rejuvenated. Thanks for your hospitality. We are truly blessed to have friends like you.

Thank you for making it easy to get here and feel at home. We had a wonderful week exploring Yellowstone Park and saw so many beautiful sights! We spent our last day here just relaxing and taking in “Point of View”. It was amazing to wake up every morning to magnificent vistas and to go to sleep to a million stars in the sky, the sounds of coyotes in the distance and the bald eagle down below. This was our first trip to Big Sky Country and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Sincerely,

We had a lovely stay at your comfortable home. The river access for our boat was the best! Floated for two days, and l day at Yellowstone Pare – great family vacation even though we’re so close to home. Fishing was good, but the scenery and company were exceptional! Thanks for a great stay.

The greatest things in life are not things. Those words were foremost in our minds as we floated the pristine waters of Montana. A great time with good friends is a shared experience that we were lucky enough to have. This experience has changed our lives, and we are most grateful to have enjoyed it together. The memories will stay with us forever. We are looking forward to the next trip very much, even more than the first one

We so enjoyed our week in Paradise. Thank you for sharing your “Point of View”. It has been spectacular. This is actually my second time in Montana. We visited Glacier two years ago. That was awesome, of course, but the accommodations here + the wildlife viewing are unbeatable. It has been like waking up every day inside a painting. My eyes will be dad to wake up to the flatlands (although lush) of Toledo, Ohio. Thanks for providing such a clean, well-appointed place to rest and relax after days of fun in Yellowstone. What an area. We were thrilled to visit the park 3 different times. Our best moments were in Lamar Valley. We saw buffalo (+calves!), black bear (2) + grizzlies (2) there. Overall we saw a bald eagle, elk (one with at least a 7 foot rack) antelope, mule deer, ducks, geese, and several bird species I could not identify. The park was amazing. We saw wildlife near the cabin and lots of pelicans. It has been a memorable experience, our family dogs included, had the time of our lives. We hope to come again!
