Celebrate on the River: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years

Year Purchased: 2004

Why the Owner Chose Paradise Valley

Our son, Paul, wanted to purchase a home in Montana. We joined in the purchase with him. We fell in love with this home and its location on the Yellowstone River.

The Unique Benefits at this Single Family Home

You can fly fish from the river bank, swim (life preservers recommended) play horseshoes, float the river in a tube, boat, raft or life preserver, picnic or just relax and watch the river flow by. Deer use the 800 acre undeveloped land next door to the south as a river crossing. There is a bald eagle that fishes and patrols the river. White pelicans float downstream often.

Owner's Map of Paradise Valley

Your Hosts Gordon, Pat and Paul Mabie. My wife Pat and I spent 24 years in the U.S. Army. After we retired we moved to Bozeman, MT to be closer to the grandkids. We are RVers who love to travel. We spend our summers in Montana and our winters in Key West, Florida. We are delighted to be able to offer our vacation rental home to guests who want to visit Southwest Montana

We loved the house. Spent most of our time at Yellowstone. Enjoyed the pool at Chico! Hope to return someday. Our favorite restuarant was Rib and Chop House in Livingston, went there twice. Loved the buffalo steak. Larry, Tabatha, Hunter, Bradley, Spencer, and Amy Mason

What a wonderful home and a beautiful experience. We have travelled out of the country before and have seen many beautiful places. Our experience on this trip was beyond words. I think knowing all this beauty is right here in our country makes us feel truly blest. God's creation and beauty touches your soul in a deep and life changing way. Last night was cooler and we woke to lots more snow on the mountain tops. Our 4 year old Gabrielle was so comfortable in your home. She took some big girl steps and slept in "her own room". She really enjoyed the house, toys and all those story books. The wildlife was enjoyable to watch, (mule deer, geese, ducks, rabbits, and best of all TWO Bald Eagles, So PROUD to be an American! I am so sad to leave, a biece of my past will remain here until I can come again and spend more time in this beauty.

We really enjoyed your Paradise View. The scenery was just absolutely beautiful. The first day we just chilled and enjoyed the mountains and river, the second day we drove to Yellowstone & Grand Teton. "Truly Heavenly" The third day we got a raft and went on the river. The best part for Gabrielle was the picnic. Sat evening we went to church at St. Mary's and then to Buffalo Jump for dinner. Sunday morning sadly started packing. Sure wish you were closer to LA. Our parting views were the two Bald Eagles in the tree.

The Point of View House is a wonderful place on earth. The view, especially in the morning light is imprinted on our mind. Last night there were so many stars in the sky that there was hardly any space between them. Blessings
