Another 10 minutes North and you will find America’s best kept skiing secret: Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. Travel East for 30 minutes and the gateway to Glacier National Park will welcome you. Head South for 30 minutes through the Flathead Valley and the Flathead Lake is yours to enjoy – the largest freshwater lake West of the Mississippi.
When your outdoor adventures are done for the day, travel back to exceptional accommodations in Whitefish. With 1200 spacious square feet to roam, kick your feet up in the family room and look directly out to the half acre trout pond below your window. Or, sit back and watch the worlds events unfold on a flat panel 42” screen TV, located above the mantel of your fireplace. If surfing the internet, communicating with family, or a day's work is required, a WiFi wireless internet connection is provided inside the unit for unlimited private guest use. This first floor, single story unit is easy to access, with an attached single car garage. The master bedroom includes a king bed and a 32” flat screen TV. The master bedroom also accesses the master bath, with walk-in shower and walk-in closet. At the other end of the unit, the guest bedroom is rustic in appearance, and includes a queen bed and views of the trout pond. An additional bathroom with bathtub is located near this room. A washer and dryer, as well as an extra sofa queen bed, are part of your stay.
The kitchen is well-appointed, and includes granite countertops, bar seating, and every tool and appliance necessary should the preparation of a gourmet meal be part of your vacation agenda. The dining room includes seating for six, and has direct access to the outdoor patio overlooking the best this resort has to offer…the half acre trout pond and cascading streams, with the clubhouse nestled on the other side.
The 6000 square foot clubhouse includes a 125” / 9 seat movie theatre to enjoy your favorite DVD, as well as a coffee lounge, billiards, social area, chef’s kitchen, BBQ station, state-of-the-art fitness center with free weights, 35-foot fireplace, simulated golf room, his-and-her bathrooms and sauna, an outdoor fire pit, and heated pool and hot tub. Tennis courts are also located across the pond from the clubhouse.
All these extras combined with the convenience of being centrally located in Whitefish will translate into the perfect vacation. You will certainly want to visit again in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert's Monterra Condo. Whitefish certainly has a lot to offer for a vacation get away. The condo was roomy and warm and suited our family of 5 just fine. The clubhouse is wonderful; we used the hot tub and steam room every day. The king bed in the master suite was so comfortable and our 12 and 9 year old shared the queen in the 2nd bedroom without too much complaining! We put our 8 year old to bed in the master and moved her out to the sofa bed when we were ready to turn in. Everyone loved the shower in the master bathroom! We hope to be able to return to Whitefish again to enjoy the outdoors. And, of course, breakfast at Loula's Cafe! The Lemon Stuffed French Toast and Breakfast Burritos were to die for! Thanks for everything Robert!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Monterra. The deluxe unit was more than adequate for our family of four. It by far exceeded our expectations. It was really nice having separate sleeping units for our two teenage boys. We really appreciated the amenities such as the full kitchen and incredible bathroom with it's huge shower. The decor is absolutely stunning. Also, having a washer/dryer in the unit was a nice convenience, for drying clothes after a hard day of skiing. It was a convenient location, I could drop off the family at the ski hill, and then head to Kalispell for a day of shopping. We had a great time and enjoyed the services of the clubhouse . I could go on and on ...we would definitely do this again! Would love to see the place in the summer, I am sure it would absolutely be stunning.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
