We are located 300 feet (an easy walk down the driveway) from Kahaluu Beach, considered the best snorkeling beach on the Big Island. Fed by fresh water springs, up to 10 million gallons per day. These waters are mostly calm, with colorful corals, rock formations, and 100+ species of fish. Swim with many colorful fish and green sea turtles in these protected waters; don't forget your underwater camera!
The north end of the beach is where the waves break and is best for body boarding and surfing. Kahaluu Beach is very popular because of the calm, protected waters - perfect for families and also referred to as “The Children’s Beach”. Shady trees surround this beautiful sandy park. Facilities include pavilions, rest rooms, showers, and a lifeguard tower. Concession stands, surf school and beach rental gear stores are located nearby.
