Location, location, location. This condo had it. Easy walk to slopes, shopping, ski rentals, gondola, dining, etc. Very comfortable for a family of four. The kitchen is better equipped than many homes, furnishing are very nice for a relaxed atmosphere, even the beds were comfortable with down pillows and comforters. Really nothing more to say - if you're looking for a place to stay in Steamboat you've found it!

We are a family of 5. We rented 302 & had a wonderful time.Everything in the description given was spot on.The place was immaculate, and very cozy.Janeth & Chris pd very careful attention to detail in every way possible, making the condo feel like home. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we already lived there.Every convenience was offered. Our kids loved it so much they didn't even seem to miss their video games. The floor plan is perfect. We rented our skis/boards from Terry's which was right downstairs/elevator. It was very convenient & the staff was great. Although there is a locker for skis right outside the condo door, (more like a coat closet, plenty of room) we chose to leave our equipment at Terry's at night.Just leave it in the checkout area & walk through & grab it in the morning & be on your way.So convenient. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, drying our boots & gloves by it every night.Indoor hot tubs & sauna were a nice way to relax at the end of a day of skiing. We didn't try the outdoor pool & hot tubs, we saw people in them, so the water must have been warm. We didn't use the shuttle service, covered parking was very convenient & everything was so close, we just drove. We enjoyed the hot springs at Strawberry Park.Be aware, when they say the last 3 miles are rough, they are not kidding. The dirt road is quite narrow & scarey, but was worth the journey & kids loved it.You can take a shuttle to it also.We went to the movies, nice theater in a shopping area near the grocery store. We bought groceries for the week at the City Market, a mile & 1/2 away, they have everything you need & Janeth leaves a shopping card in the room for your use. So thoughtful. There's a liqour store in the same parking lot, and a great little pizza place that offers the slice or full size, ate there twice. It's called Blue Sage, highly recom. We tried slices from 8 different pizzas & we liked them all.We took the gondola up to the top, lunch at the cafeteria on top floor, lots of food choices, all good, you can take your food out on the deck & enjoy the view.We had lunch at Gondola Pub & Grill, food was good, didn't feel it was worth the price paid.Lunch in our room was close/conven.Dad & 3 boys took private board lessons from Scott. He was great.Probably not the best mountain for 1st time boarders, greens required lots of pushing, blues were too steep for our younger 2.Overall, we'd recommend this condo & town to a friend. It was filled with friendly people.Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo! True ski in/ski out and the view of the mountain was excellent. The owner made the rental process very quick and easy with a simple contract and great communication right up to the day of arrival. Right in the heart of all the action made it easy to walk to restaurants, bars and shops. The free shuttle was perfect to get anywhere in town and we did not use our car the entire week. We rented our ski's from Terry Sports which was literally right in front of our condo and you ski right up to the door and store your skis for free. The service at terry's was excellent. In the morning it’s a 30 second walk to Terrys, put your ski's on and go. Our condo was very clean upon arrival and was professionally decorated. Nice touches like custom towels/linens (not the cheap hotel type), lots of movies/games, large refrigerator with filtered ice/water and plenty of kitchen pots/pans made our stay comfortable. Flat panel TV's in both bedrooms and the living area made us feel right at home. The patio was plenty big with a nice table and chairs and an awesome view of the mountain. The indoor hot tubs just down stairs were clean and well kept. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were an easy walk and well kept with plenty of towels. Parking was great in the underground parking garage with easy access to the elevator and up to our condo. The skiing was true Spring sunshine skiing. We had full sun everyday and plenty of snow on the mountain. We skied 5 days and took a day off in mid-week and went snowmobiling with High Mountain Snowmobile Tours. Our guide was Andrew and we had a great 4hr tour with lunch that was exciting and lots of fun. Our favorite restaurants were the Ore House and Mambo's. All in all, our trip was a perfect 10 and this condo exceeded our expectations!

This was my first time renting via VRBO and wasn't quite sure what to expect. The whole experience exceeded my expectations - no problems at all and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did not have to interact with the front desk at all, everything was handled directly with the property owner via phone and email. The condo itself is just as pictured. It was perfectly clean and well maintained, everything in working order. Free wifi worked without a hitch, no problems at all with cable TV, fireplace, etc. Great view from the balcony of the slopes and lower mountain - although there are one or two rooftops visible straight ahead. We really enjoyed the 'homey' feel to the place - it didn't feel like a corporate rental - more like we were spending time at a family member's vacation place. Little things like tupperware in the cabinets, plenty of extra pillows / blankets, even a fan and a humidifier in the bedroom. The towels were nice and comfy like you'd have at home, not the thin scratchy kind most hotels / resorts usually have. Also there were some staples already in the cupboards so we didn't have to buy everything at the store - stuff like coffee / filters, salt & pepper, cooking spray, etc. As far as the property in general goes, Torian Plum is in an excellent location right at Ski Time Square. The door of the building is immediately adjacent to the slopes - you only have to walk across a small courtyard / sidewalk and you are on the snow at the base area and on your way to the gondola / Christie lifts. Restaurants and shops are right outside the door. One amenity that we got great use out of was the free shuttle which is available to Torian Plum guests. The shuttle made a rental car completely unnecessary - saved us hundreds of dollars. You simply call the shuttle, tell them where you are, and within a few minutes the shuttle arrives to take you anywhere in the ski area / downtown. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and the drivers also have great recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc. I'd definitely recommend this unit for anyone visiting Steamboat.

We brought in the New Year in Steamboat and truly enjoyed living in your condo. This is definately the BEST location at the resort. Thanks for providing all of your guests with a wonderful condo. We have all slept well and felt totally relaxed. Although we loved all the horses-we would have traded a horse for some fresh powder.

Thank you again for letting us have a relaxing visit to Steamboat Springs. Our friends enjoyed visiting from Castle Rock and we enjoyed the beautiful condo. We went golfing and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi plus the wonderful weather. We did hike at the falls, drove to Clark and did the gondola. All perfect- for a great vacation.

You were correct- you gave us the best condo! We appreciate all of the considerate touches that made this condo so special-from the welcome gifts to the glove rack to warm gloves by the fireplace and the games and movies, the decor that lets us know we are not in Florida anymore, the stocked supplies and that welcoming vanilla candle scent that greets us when we open the door. It is obvious that you want repeat customers and we hope to be just that. Im so glad we found you.

We stayed at Torian Plum from 12/20-12/26/2010 and had a great ski vacation. This was our family's first ski vacation and couldn't have asked for a more convenient or comfortable condo. First of all, the location is superb. Torian plum is right on the ski mountain and is truly ski in/out even for beginners. You can either walk 150 yards down a bunny trial from Torian Plum to the ski school or just put on your skis and push off. In addition to being close the ski school, there are shops and great restaurants in the shops at the base of the condo. The unit was immaculate--clean and very well appointed. The pictures on the web site are truly reflective of what you will get. The unit is well stocked with board games and DVDs which we enjoyed thoroughly. The beds are very comfortable and we even used the sofa bed--we took the mattress and placed it directly on the floor. The owners were also very friendly and accommodating. Towards the end of our ski trip, we decided to stay an extra day and the owners were able to accommodate our wishes. We plan to stay here next year when we return to Steamboat and would definitely recommend this unit.

"We had a great vacation at Steamboat March 6-12, 2010. And Torian Plum #302 was a big reason why. The condo is as described, maybe even better. The interior pictures are accurate. The view of the slopes from the balcony is stunning. The rooms are large, the interior well-appointed, the furnishing lovely, with plenty of towels, dishes, and everything fresh and spotless. The location is great, truly ski-in, ski-out. The ski locker is large and accessible. The undeground parking is convenient. The pool and hot tubs are well maintained and very clean. Janeth was very helpful, her check-in documents and instructions were very well organized and easy to follow. The admin process of checking in/out was very simple. Torian Plum #302 was our home for 6 nights, and we loved it. From both of us, thank you Janeth."

We had a great time here at the Torian Plum. The skiing was fantastic-we had fresh powder three out of four days! Our daughtet, counted all the horses in your home and this is what she found, 303 total horses, 178 horses on cloth and 125 horss not on cloth. The view was great, everything was comfortable and we loved all the games. Our son learned how to play chess on your chess board and finally the fireplace did a wonderul job of warming our mittens.
