Property description

One of the best kept secrets in New Orleans is available for anyone who would like to experience New Orleans in a lovely historical home filled with gracious Southern hospitality in the Garden District. This is an apartment in the owner's home and the owners live in the main home.
A private front entrance welcomes you and French doors open to a private pool and courtyard. Ideal accommodations for 1 or 2 guests.

If you prefer to visit New Orleans and stay in a home and neighborhood with a lot of history, this is a real gem. The interior is intimate and tasteful and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. Our home is decorated in traditional Southern New Orleans style.

The apartment is filled with artifacts and collections from our travels around the world. It is colorful, cozy and tasteful. We take immaculate care of our home, gardens and pool. We welcome our guests to enjoy our home - over 100 years old - and our beautiful historical neighborhood.

The Garden District is a neighborhood only minutes away from all of the venues of New Orleans including the French Quarter, Superdome, Convention Center and Sports Arena. Mardi Gras parades are on St. Charles Avenue - a short walk of 4 blocks. Magazine Street, filled with boutiques, shopping, restaurants and coffee shops is a beautiful walk and just 1 block from our home.

Historic St. Charles Avenue is a lovely four block walk through the Garden District. Once at St. Charles Avenue, you can hop on the streetcar and venture to the French Quarter in one direction or Audubon Park and Zoo in the other.

The Garden District of New Orleans has its own private security patrol 24 hours a day.
