We arrived at this unit and were surprised at the lack of upkeep. The vents/air ducts, ceiling fans, walls and carpet were filthy, and the batteries had been taken out of the fire alarms, which was a violation of the proprety. The pool was nice and close, but management closed BOTH pools the last two days of our stay due to mainteanance, so it's summer, you have a beautiful pool you can't swim in! The view is great but if a family is staying here, the stairs are very steep and there are two sets to the top, This unit is not lived in, therefore, had many rough edges to it. The resort sits on a crooked hill and is hard to walk around, especially if there are young children with strollers, etc.Not a place for older parents to visit. FYI, there is no wireless internet which requires going to a near Starbucks 2 mi. away. The headboard in the 4th bedroom was broken. There were also other items in the place that were broken. The kitchen had few pans to cook meals with. These issues were all addressed with the owner at the time but I would not recommend this unit for its asking rental price.Recommended for: Girls getaway.
Owner response: To our future guests: This is an extremely un-fair review. We hosted 28 groups in 2012 including satisfied guests just prior to and after this stay. Three groups have already booked return trips for 2013. We take your satisfaction seriously! I have been in business managing upscale properties at the Lake of the Ozarks since 2007 and this reservation isn't one I'll forget! I request and genuinely appreciate feedback from our guests on how we can improve their experience - and our properties for our future guests. In fact, in the introduction of our rental agreements, I ask our guests to promptly notify me - if upon their arrival, they find any issues or problems that need attention. We have resources to mitigate issues quickly in the event of an unknown issue. We understand that you're on vacation and we do our best to provide a great experience because we want you to return! Mrs. W contacted me right away after she arrived. She was distraught - and I mean truly upset - that there was no elevator. The condo is 2-levels up from the parking lot which is a trade-off for the amazing 8-mile view from the condo's expansive deck and the 2 master suites on the lake side. We do not advertise elevator access. Next, she asked how to connect to the internet... I politely said that the condo doesn't have internet access and I reminded her that we don't advertise it as having that service. I offered her a few alternatives (such as nearby free wi-fi) - which she had no interest in. Again, like the elevator, I'm not sure where the expectations came from. At that time, I recognized that without internet access and without an elevator, I could not please Mrs. W. Unfortunately, our other 4 Bed properties were already reserved so I offered her a full-refund should she wish to check-out at that time. She declined the offer and said that they would make due without internet and that they had settled in already. The next day, she called to let me know she had found dust on the tops of the pictures and wall hangings. She continued mentioning that she found a smoke detector without a battery... and she found signs of a spill on the carpet near the dining room and dust on the cold air return vents. I offered to send our cleaning crew over and again, she declined my offer. Later in the week the complex closed both salt-water pools one day for maintenance so a project could be completed. This WILL NOT happen again! Please note:This review was submitted almost 8 months after the stay.

A group of ladies rented this condo for a long weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks. This condo was absolutely beautiful and so roomy! Huge, well stocked kitchen and dining area. Four very roomy bedrooms and four bathrooms which was great for a group of women. The main channel view from the balcony was amazing! We also spent some time at the saltwater pool which was very nice. The location was awesome as it was close to all the great restaurants and shopping.
