My wife once said: "How is our condo at Velero Galeon any different from the 5-Star Hotel and Resort properties we've had the opportunity to visit over the years"?..."We've got large square-footage rooms, marble floors throughout two marble bathrooms, and our own fully furnished kitchen."..."Two balconies overlooking our four pools(2 adult, 2 kiddie)and the Pacific Ocean, High Speed Wi-Fi Internet, Sony Hi-Definition English/Spanish Cable TV, our own maid, "24/7" English/Spanish Switchboard, "24/7" Bellman service, etc. etc."
My response was: "I can think of some. The natural beauty and impeccable maintenance and service here Velero y Galeon far exceeds many of those properties. The weather is always incredible, we're located on the Penthouse Floor, the Staff is incomparable with friendly, fast service...and...the Big One...the value!!...about 15 to 20% of the cost".

Why the Owner Chose Acapulco
We vacationed at Velero y Galeon in Acapulco every year for 19 years, and NEVER had a day without sunshine or below 75 degrees. When we retired a couple of years ago, we purchased the same condo we vacationed in from the then-owner.

Hi ! We're Nancy & Jim Huening from Palatine, Illinois, U.S.A., a Chicago suburb. We're a retired couple who are 21 year "veterans" of vacationing in Acapulco. We were absolutely thrilled when the Owner of the Condo we had stayed in all those years offered to sell us what had become our "Home away from Home". Perfect timing ! As new retirees we're now able to spend many, many weeks at Velero y Galeon, which is described by virtually everyone who knows Acapulco well "as the most beautiful and best maintained buiiding...in the best location of Acapulco."
The only thing that keeps us from spending more time than we do at our place in Acapulco is wanting to spend time with our great children and grandchildren, who all live in the Chicago area
