I'd second all of the positive comments from those who've written reviews on this unit already. I'd also reiterate that Connie and Andrew are wonderful hosts - Connie is very knowledgeable about the island, and very responsive before and during one's stay. This unit is extraordinarily well located for exploring the island, which is easy to do with the included 4x4 - ten minute drive to the baths, five minutes to Savannah Bay, a couple more to Mahoe Bay and Mountain Trunk - all excellent snorkeling sites. The complex is great as well - excellent staff, great service. The pool bar has surprisingly good food - we ate there several times during our stay. I can't recommend this place enough for the value - we drove ALL over this island and I can't imagine that there's a better place to stay that provides the same bang for the buck. Thanks Connie and Andrew!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed in this unit for nine nights at the end of May/early June 2012. It is a great value on the island of Virgin Gorda which can be pricey. It is precisely as advertised; the inclusion of a vehicle to get around onthe island was indispensable. The kitchen was well stocked with needed items and well maintained. The owner, Connie, was very quick to provide replies and always very pleasant and available to help us. Condo is near The Baths and the Coppermine, both very worthy of a visit. Convenient location for ferry access. Also near the grocery stores so getting food was simple. The time of year we went was kind of slow and quiet, it might be a little more festive on the island had it been busier. The view from the balcony was not especially scenic but it was still a pleasant place to eat meals and lounge. While not on a beach, having a pool and restaurant on premises was a big plus. Save a bit of money by renting this condo and you will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We loved our stay at the condo. It is even more spacious than it appears in the pictures. Connie and Andrew were wonderful to work with, responding quickly to all our inquiries. They even included a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the week. When we arrived at the ferry dock, Connie met us there with the vehicle and a map to the condo. Navigating the island is very easy, but do remember to Keep Left! Connie and Andrew took us on a fun snorkel trip to the North Sound on their powerboat, we had a blast. The condo was perfect for two couples, we would have breakfast at the condo each day and then pack up the provided beach chairs, beach towels and cooler and head off to explore the island. Snorkeling at the Baths, Devil's Bay, Spring Bay and Savannah Bay was great fun. We saw a nurse shark, great barracuda, octopus and many, many colorful fish. We had Savannah Bay all to ourselves. We ate lunch at the Poormans Bar at the Baths which was very convenient and the food was fine. We also had lunch at Hog Heaven which has excellent views and great food (the Duke of Gloucester and the Governor of the BVI stopped by there that day). Lunch at the Mermaid Dockside right on the water with great food. Dinner at Chez Bamboo, great food. Dinner at the Condo restaurant, we ate in one of the alcoves by the pool, the food was excellent as was the service. The staff at the condo from the office manager to the bartenders were all friendly, fun and provided great service. The pool was inviting and refreshing. This was our first time to Virgin Gorda and the Condo was perfect, the patio is perfect for relaxing, the kitchen is well stocked and having a view of the ocean is great.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The condo is everything it is described to be on the site! The picutures are precise. If you're considering this condo, I highly recommend it. It is an excellent value and has a lot of space for a couple or a family. The location is near our favorite spots on the island. The owners were absolutely the best and were very, very helpful before and after the rental. We were very pleased with the condo and the trip overall!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed at this condo for 10 days in July and the place was wonderful! The condo is in a perfect location to everything you need, including restaurants, ferry dock, and the best beaches on the island. It was clean, very spacious, and suited every need for us and our three teenage daughters. The breezes that came through the front porch were beautiful, as was our morning breakfast before we headed out to explore this beautiful island. Connie was wonderful in helping us throughout the planning process of our trip and she answered every question with great detail. Our stay was wonderful, the place was fabulous and we can not wait to return. Do not pass this up this condo! It was perfect!!!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We finally have a home away from home. Everything and everybody is great! The view is wonderful, especially on a nice clear day. We love the fact that we have the use of the pool and the poolside bar and grill are excellent. We'll grab a quick sandwich and drink and lounge around til it's time to go inside and get ready for a dinner out. We don't spend much time in the kitchen, but it has all the bells and whistles. Virgin Gorda is our favorite place to go each winter. We've been coming to the island for the past 10 years and staying at Olde Yard for the past 3 years. Before that we had rented several houses, but find this set-up much more suited to our liking. The condo is set up very nicely. The photos do it justice. It's nice having the living quarters above, so the early risers can make their way up the stairs and make coffee and sit on the patio overlooking the ocean. The maids do come in each day and provide clean linens and spruce up the place. We're not the messiest people, so that usually don't have much to do when they arrive! Our favorite places include The Rock and the Mineshaft. We have gone to the Top of the Baths for breakfast, but this year never got up there. We've been coming down for so many years that we usuallty don't do the tourist things anymore, but there are alot of beautiful places to visit. We are fortunate enough to have friends that live on the island for the winter months and have a boat which we are able to hitch a ride and go to the many other islands for lunch and sightseeing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We can't wait to book it again for next year!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Looking for a great place to stay on Virgin Gorda….this is the one! After going to Virgin Gorda for close to 20 years, we think we have found the ideal place to stay. The condo has two bedrooms with ensuite baths for privacy if you are traveling with family or friends; a well appointed kitchen if you decide to cook, but the food at the restaurant and at the bar by the pool is excellent…some of the best on the island. The condo has a beautiful pool but you are never far from great beaches; the Baths, Spring Bay and Savannah Bay. Being within walking distance of grocery stores, Spanish Town, church and the marina is an added bonus. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to watch the sun come up over the ocean…incredible! After morning coffee, we would work out in the fitness room or go for a walk before making the big decision of the day…beach or pool? You can explore the entire island as Connie & Andrew graciously provide use of their SUV…you cannot beat it. The only negative is the road noise at times which is far out weighed by the many amenities that are found at The Olde Yard Village and their condo. We’ll be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was a great place to stay especially having use of a car. Everything from the owners and cleanliness of condo was excellent. The owners were very nice and responsive to all our questions and were easy to deal with. It was just a short walk to pool/bar area and it was also a great place to hang out with their very friendly staff. The maid service was spot on and would show up when needed. We did not have a chance to eat at the restaurant at nite but did have lunch which was very good!! Overall I give it a big thumbs up!!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

Hi. I have been traveling to the BVI and Virgin Islands since I was a child and staying at Connie & Andrews villa was by far the best yet. The villa is lovely and they were truly the best to work with. The villa was clean and very comfortable with a great location. The staff was wonderful with a great pool. We ate dinner at the pool just about every night and the food was wonderful. I have traveled a lot and stayed at many 5 star locations and this villa was truly wonderful. We will be back soon. The owners are wonderful people and you would be crazy to pass this one up! We took my parents and both the children ages 4 and 8 and we had an incredible time. Thank you Connie and Andrew!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
