Great Yellowstone location!

My husband and I stayed here at this duplex for a week this summer while visiting Yellowstone, after having spent one night at the hotel in the park. What a difference! We arrived during a heat wave, and after the stuffy crowded hotel we were delighted to find this spacious quiet cool location! There is AC, but we never had to use it: because the nights are so cool, we opened the windows at night and then closed them up in the morning, and were very comfortable all day. Gardiner is just a very short distance (1/2 mile) from the north entrance to Yellowstone at Mammoth, and we found that it was very convenient to load up the car and head into the park for daily excursions in one direction or another (bring your mosquito repellant). Gardiner has lots of little restaurants and gift shops and a grocery store and gas station. Groceries are expensive and there is not much selection, so stock up in a larger town on the way in. The apartment has everything else you need, well equipped kitchen, reliable wifi. Huge deck with table and chairs and BBQ, view out over the river, you can watch the rafters go past, and see elk grazing in the field on the other bank. Very quiet for being right in town. You won't be disappointed!

NICE CHANGE FROM STAYING IN THE PARK

This was our 6th trip to Yellowstone, and we have always stayed inside the park in the either the motels or cabins. Although the cabins are kind of a fun place to stay, the charm has worn off with us (no closets or dressers so you have to live out of your suitcase, no air conditioning, tiny bathrooms, hard beds), and the food in the park has consistently gone down hill and has gotten expensive. So we decided to stay at Park Riverside condo for our 8 night visit in June this year. Cost wise, the condo was only $84 more than if we stayed in a cabin in Mammoth. What a great decision that was! The condo was (as others have said ) very clean and spacious. All the comforts and necessities you might need, right down to camp chairs that you can throw in the back of your car and use for "wolf viewing" in Yellowstone. We loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer. We only had to pack half as many clothes as we usually do ( my husband was thankful for that, since he has to lug all the suitcases) because we knew we could do laundry if we needed to. The condo is right in town, just a short distance from the local grocery store, so you can shop for food and save $$ on going out to eat for breakfast and dinner every day. We packed lunches every day for the park . This is a good cost saver for those with children especially. There is a gas grill on the deck for grilling. The bedrooms were spacious and lots of closet space, and the bed was comfortable. We had all the comforts of home. The only trouble we had was with the air/heating system. Was a little confusing - didn't seem to want to work properly, but there was a backup system. We would definitely stay here again. If fact, we are hoping the that the next time we may be able to stay for several weeks!

This place is the best!

We were there on Memorial day weekend. All 4 of us were in love with this place. It's spacious and exactly like the photos on the webpage. It was very very clean and had everything we needed, just like home! The heated tile floor in the bathroom is a plus. The big and fully equipped kitchen was great for us to make breakfast and pack our lunch to Yellowstone. This place is just a minute from a gas station and a grocery store. Also it's just a few minutes to the YNP north entrance. We would definitely stay there again whenever we visit Yellowstone. I recommend this place to anyone!

What a great place to stay for a visit to Yellowstone. The accomidations were outstanding. Very clean, neat, well furnished with all the comforts of home. Views of the Yellowstone River, elk and mule deer from the deck added to the adventure. This is the place to stay if you plan to visit the Park. Walk around and enjoy Gardiner. Breakfast at the "Two Bit Saloon" is a must. We are planning a return trip in the spring.

Great stay!

We (two couples) stayed at Parks Riverside. It was the perfect Yellowstone lodging--extremely clean, roomy and nice. We enjoyed watching a young fawn nibble on foliage in the back yard late one afternoon. Only a quarter mile from the north entrance to Yellowstone, this charming little town was a great place to stay. We thought having only one bathroom might be a problem, but it was fine. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the other bedroom.

I found the apartment very clean and just as described in the listing. The apartments are quite large with a huge deck on the back. They were very nice to come back to after a day in Yellowstone. I would recomend them to anyone.

We are both contractors and were looking for someplace different than a hotel in Gardiner and Yellowstone for a work related trip. This place was signficantly nicer than any hotel that we have stayed at in Gardiner for about the same price. It was very clean and completely remodeled. Kitchen was completely furnished. If you are not inside, you are outside on the great deck which views the Park and Yellowstone/Gardiner rivers. Great location in town within walking distance to everything. We have stayed at many hotels and VRBO's and this is one that we definitely hope to come back to.

The owners should be proud of their condo. It is very clean and looks like it was recently updated. It is just a short drive to the north entrance. The owners are locals and are very helpful with tips, directions, etc. I would strongly recommend this condo to everyone.

Ok, I'm sorry . . . we stayed here a year ago for the entire month of September and I'm just now getting around to writing this -- we loved the place. We're going to another part of the state this year, but we'll never top this lovely duplex. Our first reaction when we walked in - JAW DROPPING!!! The place is roomy and bright and wonderful. It's right on the main street, but quiet and restful. The deck over the river was my favorite spot for tea and a book. Convenient to fishing and hiking, and of course, the Park. Gardiner is a nice little town, and you can't beat this great rental.

We have used VRBO before and have always been happy but Parks Riverside went beyond our expectations. Tara provided everything from mugs chilling in the freezer to nightlights in the outlets. The duplex was spacious and clean. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking or the best steak dinner was across the street at the Raven Grill! Gardiner has many stores to explore and is only a block from Yellowstone's entrance. Our vacation could not have been better! Thank you Tara!

Perfect place for visiting Yellowstone. Super close to the entrance of the park and in a great little town. The place was very nicely appointed, had all the expected amenities including wifi. It was the perfect place to come home to at the end of the day.

My brother and I took my retired mother to Yellowstone in late May of 2009 and stayed at this rental house for one week. It was a very nice two-bedroom with all needed amenities. Both bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The convertible sofa bed was also quite nice. The covered balcony was superb as it overlooked the Yellowstone River. We viewed wildlife from the balcony daily. The house is only 1/2 mile to the North Entrance of Yellowstone, making it extremely convenient. It was a perfect place to come home to after our long days of sightseeing in the park. I would certainly recommend it to anyone planning a Yellowstone vacation.

We stayed in Parks Riverside for 10 days in May this year. It is very large, beautifully decorated, great view, close to town and 5 minutes to the park. We enjoyed the visits from the wildlife in the evening while sitting on the deck. This unit is very well furnished with everything you might need. The owners are so helpful and friendly as well. We plan to stay there again on our next visit to Yellowstone. Great home away from home!

A great location to select as a base for all the wonderful attractions of Yellowstone Park and surrounding area, yet convenient to all the unique shops and dining spots in Gradiner. Sitting on the deck at night was wonderful as you can hear the Yellowstone River located only yards away. A wonderful change of pace from hectic city life. The rental has all the ammenties necessary and was very comfortable. We'll plan on staying again as we didn't get to see everything the area has to offer.

I highly recommend this property if you’re looking to stay close to Yellowstone National Park or if you just want a beautiful private getaway spot. The location is excellent and so close to the park’s entrance (within walking distance). After a long day of sightseeing in the park, it was nice to have the convenience of staying somewhere close. The place itself was great – newly remodeled, clean and had everything we needed. Amenities were very family friendly. The owners were wonderful to deal with as well. Our family especially enjoyed spending time on the large deck. You could see and hear the river which was very relaxing. Overall it was just a beautiful spot to stay – great views of mountains too. We will definitely come back!

I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We stayed for five nights and loved every minute of it. Tera had everything you needed right down to the laundy soap for the washer. Treats in the frig. We had a rental rv that had that the transmission blew which delayed our stay one night. My husband and son were standed to walk five miles and Tera's husband Jeff was so kind to go look for them and help us in any way he could because he worked for the park service. We just can't say enough about our stay. We were blessed and hope you are too! Tammy Hannah
