Very spacious, comfortable 5 bedroom 3500 sq. ft. home which easily and comfortably sleeps 10 people without having to "double-up." For the guests who come with a lot of gear and want to enjoy a home-away-from-home experience. Ideal for families and larger group getaways in picturesque Bend but cozy enough for a luxurious time for two. All guests treated to fresh ground "Strictly Organic" coffee, chocolates, bottle of red wine and luxurious linens.
No other houses in front or behind makes this home very private and elevated while being in the heart of the Westside. Located 1 mile from downtown and near bike trails, nordic/skate skiing, river, restaurants and coffee shops in a newer neighborhood with mountain views.
Open great room plan with very large kitchen, gourmet stove with professional vent, pot filler for big pots of pasta after a day of skiing and a high capacity fridge. Bar eating and in-kitchen eating with an additional formal dining room attached. ENORMOUS downstairs living room with generous seating, gas fireplace, TV and DVD and great views of hills and trees.
Upstairs den with foosball table, comfortable couches and 36 inch television with DVD and DVD Library. Views of open space across and mountains down the street.
Downstairs master suite has separate bathroom with shower, hallway and walk-in closet. Upstairs master bedroom has Temperpedic king-size mattress, garden tub for two with hand-held shower attachment. Large walk-in tiled shower with 3 shower heads including one overhead "rain" shower head.
Both queen guest bedrooms have wonderful cozy rooms with lots of books to enjoy. Upstairs twin bedroom has two twin beds.
Since this was a young family's home, a child's playpen/porta-crib with sheet, high-chair, baby monitor and safety-rated child's top of the stair gate is available if needed.
"This is a such an amazing home! We wound up having an unexpected family get together, everyone coming from California to Washington and this home fit everyone very comfortably (this included ages from 9 mos. old to 65 years old). The Greatroom downstairs provided an amazing place for everyone to relax and play. The kitchen was very large allowing many cooks in the kitchen (men and women). There is the dining room table in the kitchen and dining room which allowed ample seating for all. The downstairs master bedroom was perfect and the 4 bedroom upstairs (with another master) including the bonus room (with foosball table) gave everyone more than ample room to spread out and have their own space. There was nothing in the home that wasn't provided for. What impressed me most of all was the cleanliness of the home and the comfort of the beds and linens was as nice as any highend hotel. This home is in a very nice neighborhood and close to town and Mt. Bachelor. Barbara and Paul, I want to thank you for being so informative and accommodating prior to our arriving and the open availability you offered once we arrived should we need anything.
