This is a rustic 1915 farm type house. It has rustic charm and is described by many as reminding them of the beach houses they stayed in as a kid. Very quiet and private street with an eclectic array of houses from very new and modern to older and rustic. The 13 riverfront houses on this street are the only freestanding residential riverfront properties in the city limits of Portland. The street is two blocks long and lies between two large city parks. The street itself is part of the city bike trail and from the driveway you can ride all the way to downtown on a paved bike path with no auto traffic with the exception of several blocks near OHSU. The only people who drive on the street are residents.
This location is very convenient to all Portland has to offer. Only 20 minutes from the airport. Grocery shopping and several restaurants are within easy walking distance. The views of the river are beautiful at all times of the day.
