There are two queen-size beds and a pull out couch in the living room. It is very comfortable for 4 people. There are new skylights in the living room that open up and in the bathroom, so you can enjoy the ocean breeze. It also has access to a W&D, a fireplace and a garage and a parking spot!

I usually never bother to write a review, but I was so impressed and happy with our stay at this home that I wanted to share some good thoughts. The house was very nicely decorated (and perfectly clean) and even roomier than I thought. We had two adults, two teenagers and two young kids (1 infant and 1 toddler) and we were very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are very roomy and modern and we cooked many of our meals to save a few dollars. The location was perfect as we walked easily (with infants) everywhere (to the beach, downtown, grocery stores, resteurants and everything Laguna Beach has to offer......... which by the way, if you have never been to any of the Orange County and LA County beaches, in my opinion Laguna is the nicest - laid back, not pretentious, family friendly, not too crowded, not too touristy, great walking beach). Tara was a wonderful host and she treated our family with great respect and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to have a nice week. The home is stocked with lots of extras that made our beach trips better (sand toys, beach chairs, kid body boards, nerf football/beach toys, etc.). Overall, I would highly recommend this home for both a family or singles/couples looking to be walking distance to everything. I am looking forward to returning with just my wife and I sometime soon and will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This was a wonderful place for my family to stay. The accommodations are lovely and very well-maintained. Tara is great to deal with and a terrific host. We walked to the beach every day. Fantastic location. Kid friendly.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We stayed at this wonderful beach house this summer and it was ideal. The location is the best part - just a few blocks from the beach and everything you need. We never used our car. Our young children enjoyed it as well and it was perfect for our family of 4. Tara was wonderful and very responsive to our questions and needs. She provided everything from coffee in the morning to all our needs for the beach. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Thank you Tara for making our vacation stress free!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Cannot recommend this enough. The pictures do not do justice to how nice the place is. Tara takes real care of the unit. It's beautifully maintained and in a great location - a five minute walk from main beach. Don't be put off by the hill picture - its at the bottom of a hill you never need walk up. it's small but cosy. two nice double bedrooms. free wifi, a great tv and lounge and very nice kitchen. go for it; you won't regret it.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

Wow! What a beautiful, modern beach house with all the extras needed for a fun stay in Laguna Beach! The location is superb!! We walked to the beach with 3 kids, rode the free trolley, and walked every evening to restaurants and to get gelato!! The house is so comfortable, clean and has everything you need to make your stay pleasant. We very much felt at home. The owner was very accessible and did everything she could to make our stay a happy one! The pictures of this house don't do it justice because it is even more beautiful in person! We plan to rent this house again on our next beach vacation in Laguna! Anyone who rents this lovely house will be very glad that they did!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We stayed in this beautiful cottage in June when we suprised our young children with a trip to Disneyland! We couldn't have been happier with Tara's home, it was perfect for our family. Such a cute and clean little place and we felt right at home. The home is located within walking distance to The Main Beach and shopping. We fell in love with Laguna Beach. My husband, daughter, a friend and I just returned from a week in Laguna Beach celebrating the girl's high school graduation. After searching many choices on VRBO, we decided to stay at Tara's beautiful beach cottage. We could not have asked for better accommodations. First of all, it is centrally located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, art galleries and shops. The home was comfortable for the four of us to relax. We all felt like it was home away from home. The beds were comfortable with enough blankets to keep warm on cool nights. The cottage was clean and decorated very nicely (the pictures don't do it justice). The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need if cooking in is your thing. Tara checked in with us frequently to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She also offered advice on good restaurants and points of interest worth visiting. At the end of the week, we were sad to say good bye to our new friend and to her beautiful beach cottage. We will definitely be back soon!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Rental Agreement and Contract 101 High Drive, Laguna Beach, CA It is understood that the property being rented at 101 High Drive Laguna Beach, California is a privately owned home including the furnishings. The tenant agrees to compensate the owner for any loss or damage caused by them during the term of the Lease by themselves, their guests and/or invitees. 1. Pets- Pets are not permitted under any circumstances in the unit. 2. Smoking – Smoking is not permitted under any circumstances in the unit. 3. Televisions/ and Internet service – There is wireless Internet service in the home through Verizon. It is available and is free during your stay. Your computer needs a wireless card to access the Internet. Direct T.V. is available and any purchases made through direct T.V. will be deducted from your deposit. 4. Lost articles – Owner is not responsible for any lost or stolen or left behind articles. Owner will make an attempt to return any items found and shipping would be deducted from deposit. 5. The upper deck behind the building is reserved for your unit. The other unit may use the deck to use the BBQ, but the upper patio is reserved for your unit. 6. Permission to Enter Premises- Owner reserves the right to enter the premises for repairs and or maintenance or to prevent injury to property or person. Owner also may enter to maintain fish tank. Occupant will be notified before entry. Occupant acknowledges that Owner does her best to keep appliances and fixtures in working order and that she does not offer discounted rates for situations beyond her control. 7. Cancellations – Rental deposits are non-refundable. If cancelled less than 28 days in advance, all fees are non refundable. 8. Damages – Tenant will be held responsible for any damages to the unit during the period of occupancy. A $500 deposit will be held in owners account for damages and will be returned within 48 hours after departure. Tenant grants permission to charge against deposit for extraordinary cleaning, loss or damage incurred to owner’s property. Tenant shall pay damages in excess of deposit in full. 9. Payment Procedure – All fees including cleaning fees, rental fees and deposit are due before check in. A check can be sent 10 days before arrival or a cashiers check made payable to TARA PETRINA can be brought at the time of check in for the remain balance. 10. Use of Appliances- The tenant acknowledges that if they use the appliances, fireplaces, and propane grills, etc. that they are responsible for damages caused by their usage to either the item or persons. The Tenant further acknowledges that they are experienced in their usage of the equipment and will be responsible for any damages or injuries that may result from their usage. 11. Violation of Law- Tenant agrees not to violate any laws during the term of this lease. If Tenant does violate any law or is police or called out for a disturbance, this lease can be terminated immediately by the discretion of the Owner with no refund of any unused payments. 12. Lost Property – Tenant shall be responsible for any lost, broken or stolen property of Owner that occurs during the term of this lease, including acts by guest or invitee of the tenant. 13. Indemnification- Tenant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner, its agents, employers, members, or assigns, against all claims, suits, causes of action, judgments, losses, cost (including actual attorney fees and damages including but not limited to damages for care and loss of services because of bodily injury, sickness or disease, and/or death, or property damage resulting there from), sustained by any person, persons or property, whether real or personal, as a result of any act of the Tenant, their agents, employees, and assigns whether by negligence or otherwise. 14. Release of Liability – Except as specifically provided by law, tenant herby releases the owner and its agents from liability for any negligent acts or omissions, except those acts or omissions which would constitute “gross negligence”. 15. Assumption of Risk- The Tenant assumes the risk for any injury or damage caused by the use of the premises during the term of the lease. This includes, if applicable, but is not limited to, use of steps/stairs to home, fireplaces, barbeque, or rental unit. 16. Cost – If Owner has to pursue any legal remedies due to the breach of this agreement by the Tenant, then the Tenant shall be responsible for all costs, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs. 17. Late check out- If you are late checking out, you will charged $20 per hour. If the next rental party is unable to occupy unit due to your late check out, you are responsible for their accommodations. 18. If you’re over occupancy per your lease, your stay will be terminated immediately with no refund.
