Our beautifully renovated 4-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house is walking distance (0.3 miles) to the majestic Delaware River at Skinners Falls - known by locals as the best place on the river for swimming, tubing, rafting, kayaking, and canoeing. There you can sun yourself on the enormous flat rocks that jut into the water, or rent a boat or tube from outfitters located right on the banks of the river.
In the evening, relax on our 16' x 30' deck in our private, wooded back yard, grill your catch of the day, and enjoy a nice game of scrabble. In the winter, there is hiking and skiing close by, or you can just curl up with your sweetie in front of the fireplace.
Just a mile from the house across the river is a 100-year-old general store with sandwiches, ice cream, pizza, and even DVD rentals. The charming towns of Narrowsburg and Callicoon are just a short drive from the house (Narrowsburg is 6 miles south, Callicoon is 6 miles north) where you can browse the shops, have a nice meal, pick up groceries, or even go bowling or to the movies. These unspoiled towns are absolutely adorable, and you won't find a Wal-Mart or McDonalds for miles.
