Let us spoil and pamper your family in this home-away-from-home! Our 3-story, majestic family cabin at Lake Arrowhead will be just what you need to rejuvenate and breathe easier any time of the year.
The cabin boasts a large and spacious professional kitchen with stainless steel appliances, open dining area, child's play area, wood-burning fireplace, Satellite TV with DVD and VCR, and stereo system with an Ipod plug in.
There is a beautifully hand-crafted Queen bed on the entry level and linens are provided free of charge. A lovely deck overlooks a seasonal brook and pathway down to the waterfront. Cook dinner on the gas grill or simply star-gaze amongst the towering California Oaks and pines.
The first floor is our Entertainment Room! It is outfitted with a flat-screen TV, X-Box console and games, wireless netflix subscription service for unlimited movie watching, a card table and chairs and an additional Queen bedroom. There is also a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience.
The third floor is home to two of the other bedrooms including bunk beds, a California King bed, a crib, one Queen and an additional Twin. The bathrooms are kept meticulously clean and well stocked and there is a full bath on every level of the cabin.
Each level of the cabin is home to not only a bathroom but also a bedroom. No need to climb stairs in a towel after taking a shower. The openness of the living and dining area also allows for those with special needs to get around that much easier, as do the wood floors.
Located a short walk from the waterfront, this custom lakeside cabin has all the amenities you could ask for and offered for only a fraction of the cost of anywhere else! From the fully operational kitchen to the game room for the kids, we offer something for everyone! Come relax, rewind and rejuvenate with us!

- Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details : The cabin sits on a seasonal creek that feeds the lake; There are no streets to cross, and it's a short walk (about 200 yards) on the ALA walking trail from the back door down to our dock on peaceful Emerald Bay.

- Pet Friendly : Well behaved pets are allowed with a refundable $50 pet deposit.
- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations) : There is at least one bedroom and bathroom on all levels of the cabin. The openness of the living and dining area allows for easy mobility and there are no stairs to climb to gain entrance to the cabin; assistance will likely be necessary down the slope from the driveway to the front door however. The doors to the main floor bedroom and bathroom are 27" wide, which is too narrow for some wheelchairs; Please confirm this will be acceptable before booking.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Arrowhead
Arrowhead is great because it's close to everywhere in Southern California, but it feels like a whole different world. It's in an old forest with mature trees, there's a private lake with great fishing, canoeing, and swimming off of the dock, and the ski slopes are close enough to get to in the winter but far enough away to avoid the traffic when you're not skiing.

With our hectic life, we appreciate a place to get away from the city and relax. Hiking on the trail around Lake Arrowhead or just reading a book in peace without the phone ringing has become a priority for these weekends. We hope you'll enjoy your time here as much as we do.

Our family consists of 3 sons and a neice, as well as two dogs (a well behaved Swiss Mountain Dog and a somewhat less well behaved Basset hound) but we love all of them.
We have always enjoyed the mountains. In College Michele and I explored the Cascades, the Sierras, Sequoia, and the various local mountain ranges in Southern California.

Your cabin is beautiful! The kitchen was absolutely perfect. The kids loved hanging out on the dock. Nice walking trail near the house too. My favorite time was, in the morning, sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee. So peaceful :) Would/will recommend your home to everyone!! Plan on coming back next summer. Thank you.

My friends and I had a WONDERFUL weekend stay at this cabin. The kitchen is gorgeous and very spacious, stocked with pots, pans everything you would need to put together a great meal. Plenty of room for a large group and all around cozy. The owners couldn't have been friendlier--I highly recommend the property!

Dear Moncures, The Darragh Family and 2 pets really enjoyed the warmth of your cabin--new kitchen and all! Closeness to the lake and a short walk to Jensen's handy market were a plus. Our son even grilled a tri-tip on the deck with snow on the ground, a surprise bonus and better yet when it melted before we had to leave. It was a lovely vacation.

This is definitely a beautiful and large family rental. Lots of square footage, cozy bedding, linens provided. We had a large family gathering and were very pleased with the abundance of bedding arrangements, huge and cozy fireplace and outdoor deck. The kids and adults enjoyed the game room and the short walk to the lake. We plan on returning this summer! Thank you Ted and Michele Moncure for allowing us to enjoy your family cabin!

We had 3 families go with plenty of room for all of us. the weather was great with fresh snow to wake up to each morning. The kids played in the snow out on the deck each morning before breakfast. The walk on the ALA trail was very fun too, the kids thought crossing over the creek on the little bridges, was the greatest thing since sliced bread. We had a good sled run too. Mom's and dad's had a great time too, needless to say a great time was had by all. we're going back in August. The moncures are very nice people and very easy going.

Great location...you can walk down to the lake and its only a five minute drive to Lake Arrowhead village. The cabin has a cool "rustic" feel, with lots of beds and comfortable furniture. All around a great place to stay for a little getaway. We've been there probably 12 times over the past 7 years. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was warm and spacious. It fit our 3 families perfectly. We loved the rustic decor and the roomy outdoor deck. Our kids loved the downstairs game room. The location is great too. It's a very short walk to the lake and right next to a main hiking trail. The owner is friendly and easy to work with. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Our "ladies' weekend" summer getaway was fantastic. Nine women slept, cooked, watched TV, and dined very comfortably - we could have easily had a few more people! The location was convenient and the cabin was big but still cozy. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great and easy to get to location. Wonderful size. Two families with three kids stayed in the cabin and we still had two rooms left over. 5 minute walk to the lake. We look forward to staying there again!
