Located high above Tucson in the exclusive Starr Pass Resort community, this newly decorated deluxe Casita offers access to this spectacular desert and mountain playground. You will be steps away from the renowned Arnold Palmer course at Starr Pass. You will enjoy the Olympic sized pool and Fitness Club located 200 feet from the Casita. Two on-site restaurants give you the choice of whether to cook or dine out.
Free shuttles are available (or you can walk) to the 5-Star J.W. Mariott Resort where you may take advantage of their Spa, shops, and Restaurants. The Signature Grill provides a daily breakfast buffet that is the best in Arizona. Foods from Italy, Spain, and France can be sampled at the renowned Primo restaurant.
The Casita features two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, living/dining room, and a patio. Views are of the Catalina Mountains and Mt. Lemmon. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, leather reading chair, flat panel TV, large master bath with separate shower/tub and his/her sinks. The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed, TV, DVD, Mini-Fridge, Microwave, sink, desk, and separate entrance.
The fully equipped kitchen will delight even serious chefs with gas stove, ample food prep area, microwave, and a larger-than-average supply of cooking utensils and dishware. Extras include a deluxe juicer and coffee grinder. You may even choose to eat at the counter while seated in the Mexican style bar chairs.
The living/dining room area features leather chairs, fireplace, high beamed ceiling, 33in flat panel TV, DVD, phone, sofa bed, and Dining table for 6. Cable TV with HBO. Unlike most casitas with original decor, this casita has been totally redecorated and renovated.
The Casita complex borders scenic Tucson Mountain Park. You are only a couple miles from Suguaro National Park West and it's Desert Museum. Short drives will take you to Mt. Kitt Observatory, Tubac's art and furniture shops, Tucson's Historic 4th Street, the University of Arizona, Kirchner and Colossal Caves. You can easily make day trips to Tombstone, Sonoita, Bisbee, and Nogales on the Mexican border.
Starr Pass is truly a treasure that you should experience. It is a serene setting but offers active persons a wealth of opportunities. You can enjoy the City Lights by night and the great outdoors during the day.

We stayed here in mid September and used this property as a base for sightseeing in the Tucson area. We shared the unit with another couple and found it perfect for our needs. The layout provided complete privacy for each bedroom which had a full bath in each.The common area was comfortable and the kitchen was complete. The unit is in a convenient location with easy access to the freeway. Convenient, quiet, cozy and complete. We very much enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We visited this property for two weeks in March and had one of the best vacations of our life. Besides the great weather and views from the patio, we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and entertaining in the great room. The huge wide screen HD TV was a bonus so we watched several of the movies kept at the casita. The Bar-B-Q was kept busy as was the swimming pool The owners were easy to deal with and everything was in tip top shape.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
