Yachats, "the gem of the Oregon Coast", is 3 miles south and is known for casual and elegant dining, live music, art galleries and shops. Waldport, 5 miles north has the Alsea Bay, fishing, crabbing, boat rentals, a flea market and shopping. Within a 25 mile radius you can visit: Historic 804 Trail, Cape Perpetua, Devils Churn, Sea Lion Caves, Florence, Newport, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Science Center, many day use parks and more.

We had right up front seating in our large livingroom and dinning room for the view of the ocean. If that is not good enough then there is the dinning area on the deck. I snapped many a beautiful picure of the setting sun. We were very surprised about the cleaniness of the house. The furnitishings were very nice. The supplies were another surprise. From paper products, and soaps to games. I took my handicapped daughter. We could not get her down to the water but she did enjoy the front yard and the deck. We shared a front bedroom with the ocean view. The two bedrooms upstairs were a nice surprise as the house is totally decorated in a natuical theme. Another large bedroom downstairs was a delight with a beautiful bedspread. Our children enjoyed the kites and sand toys. This was a dream vacation for us and the owners readily gave our deposit back with no waiting. They keep themselves handy incase we have a question. Seven of us enjoyed this house with our two dogs. We will rent this house again and again. Sandra

We had such a great time at this house! We LOVED the location~right on the beach that we never really had to share with many others. Couldn't have asked for better! The house felt bigger than it looks on paper, and we had a full house for our stay. The owners are super friendly, accomodating & great to work with! We took sleeping bags & some paper products to cut down on cleaning time & it worked out great. The trade off of doing our own cleaning for the money saved was worth it & not a huge dent in our get-away. This house is such a great deal & we hope to return again soon. Thanks for such a great place for our vacation!

It was my daughters 9th birthday so we took her to the Beach as a suprise. This house was wonderful for this type of adventure as she could take off and go play in the sand, we could sit on the front porcha and watch her. We only had to buy our food and the house had everything else. The walk down the stairs to the beach was "great"... only 20 stairs and we were there. I would and will go back to this same property for any Beach adventure we want to take. On our stay we also got the great pleasure to see Whales spraying and jumping,,, all from our front deck. Thank you to the owners for having such a great place.

My family who all live outside of Oregon came to see my son graduate from U of O and we decided to stay at the beach. Though this is the better part of 2 hours from Eugene we didn't mind the drive a couple of times. The house was as described, we enjoyed our walks on the beach and sitting out on the deck and did not want for anything, perfect weather. We were very comfortable here. We could have used one more double or queen instead of the ample twin beds, but for families with young it is probably easier. We all left thinking we'd like to come back. It was a great way to pack a mini vacation with graduation

I was there alone to get some work done. Mission accomplished. And when I wasn't working there was unlimited beach and ocean. The house is comfortable and clean--just right. I recommend it.

This was our second visit to this home and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Great ocean views, quiet surroundings, and a comfortable home. We definitely recommend this home for a family getaway or romantic retreat. It meets the needs.

We are a group of ER nurses that needed some "bonding" time away from reality. Your cabin/cottage was perfect for that. From the beautiful view of the ocean out of the front window and from the deck, to the many walks and conversations as well as moments of laughter made the experience exceptional. One of the women in our group had lost her teenage daughter a week before our stay at the cabin, so our stay was also a healing time as well as a time of reflection. Thank-you for sharing your beautiful home away from home. We hope to be able to stay again in 2008.
